[TO ADMINS] Cleaning Up My Fans List

Hey, I was wondering about the release of a “coming soon” feature. It allows me to remove people from my fans list. I want to get rid of about half of my list, people that fit in the following categories.

1) People that try to friend every member of Kongregate, but never actually do anything else.

2) People I have never met that read some comment and decided to friend me and then flood my shoutss with angry/praising/stupid comments.

3) Idiots.

I want the ban fan feature!

Why would you care who’s on your Fans list? They’re just that – Fans. Unless you’re worried about them stalking when you’re online, you should have no issue – you can just add your mutual friends to your friends, and let your fans stay as just that – fans.

I think it’s a valid thing to be concerned over.

Ah, I could see how that would be a problem. Maybe make it so that fans can see less? Or make it so that you can customize how much power fans have? (Sort of like the limited profile feature on Facebook)

Actually, it would be nice if we could get something like what facebook has where you have to send friend invitations to people, no more fan/friend stuff; only have real friends. While this is a good site update away it think it would be a huge improvement over what we have now. Maybe accompany it with a better private messaging system (No rush on that whispers work just fine).

We just have to remember to be patient, Kongregate is still beta after all. :)
