This looks like its going to be tough choosing a winner.

How many participants there are now?

This will be a tough choice, trash or bob?

I made a nice design, but I did it with CS3 flash professional and can’t seem to post it here. It isn’t animated or anything. I tried converting it to a more friendly format, but it didn’t work. I don’t have have an illustrator program capable of doing the same design. I’m just going to try and upload it as if it were a flash game. Oh, and I also tried just copying it and pasting it here, but that doesn’t work either. Is there anything I can do or should I just accept that I can’t get in on this contest? I’ve never uploaded a game before and I’m not even sure I can pull that off, but it’s a REALLY good design!! Please help

I posted my entry as a game. I had no idea that it would actually work. I would never publish a non-game here. I just assumed that there would be a filter or a person to check and approve games before actually using them on Kong. My apologies. Can I remove that? Maybe a Kong staffer will have to get rid of it. I don’t know!!! Anyway, as long as it’s there, check it out. It’ll be a new “game” under tutorials called “Kongregate header contest entry” lol. sorry, sorry, sorry everyone.

thanks moomoo, but that really isn’t working either. The only reason I have a problem at all is that my illustrator programs are so out-dated. CS3 trial is the best thing I’ve got for makin’ stuff. I hope the Kong people don’t get to PO’d about the way I uploaded it…
It was good to go through that process though…I’m about to upload a real game here in a couple of weeks and knowing what to expect helps a bit.

nah, they won’t be annoyed, the kong staff will probably be able to get the banner from that then remove the game…

Yeah Moomoo, I’m hoping they include me in on this one. I’m hoping my entry won’t be overlooked because of where it is. Maybe I should send a whisper/shout to ummmm Angel was it? After all, it’s tonight.

@Kalisankara: There should be an export to image option in flash, something like File > Export > Export Image

Trash, I really like your banner, but I think bobu’s should be the one picked because it is more Kongregate-ish than cartoon-ish. But those two are my top two favorites :P

ok, so I found out about the use of exclamation points to upload imagery. Now then, is there some common site that you are all using? A hub? Or are you using your own personal web pages. I don’t have a webpage, so if there’s a universal site for dumping images please let me know where it is. :)

gosteve05: I just replaced the ad in the screenshot with a ad for kongtaminated. It has nothing to do with the halloween header/theme and is just my silent wish to get a banner for my little project running here on kong ;P I hope your ‘ugh!’ is not meant in a negative way :X

That is a sweet banner, trash. I appreciate your Kongtaminated. It’s clever inside humor for those of us who play regularly and drawn quite well. It would be awesome if it came to the point that it could be featured.
