why is 64 the last level

just wondering whyis 64 the last level u can get up to???

Because.

64 is my favorite number. Its my lucky number.
But the real question is, why NOT 64?
Why SHOULDNT it be 64?

It’s just the way the staff designed it. I guess it was kinda unthinkable that people would even make it to lv50, but then again, if there was no level cap, I think we’d have some users in the 80s-100s.

Because the Kong staff was probably playing Nintendo 64 or something similar at the moment.

I sorry I seem to have found a bunch of undocumented formatting features(?). what I meant to say was:
a better question in why aren’t the levels just set on a curve? such as
f(x)= x^5/2 – x^5/3 + x – 1
where x is a level and f(x) is the points needed to achieve it. btw my example falls pretty close to the existing system.

edit: which would put level 46 at about 13,806

The levels are set on a curve (Sorta). It takes 10 more points to get to the next level than it took to get to the level before. E.g. It takes 50 points to get to level 2. It takes 60 MORE to get to level 3.

This is why.

So…..if you needed 100 points to be level 1, you’d need a total of 210 for level 2, 320 for level 3, 430 for level 4, etc. etc.?
