For those of you who want to play your games with a gamepad.

Here is a fine piece of software called JoyToKey. JoyToKey allows you to map the keyboard and mouse buttons to your gamepad’s button. Now, any good gamepad will already come with software to map the keyboard and mouse, but some gamepads like mine didn’t have the feature to map these keys to joystick movement, but now I can with JoyToKey. Mapping keys to joystick movement is just one feature; you can also map keys to your gamepad’s buttons too. Have fun!

I don’t have a Gamepad, but if I did, I’m sure this would help alot. Thanks for the helpful hint. |

not exactly sure what a gamepad is, sorry |

A gamepad is like a PS2/XBox controller for your PC. |

Also recommended for Gamepad enthusiasts, I suggest picking up a used PS2 controller at your local EB Games or other game store, and a PS2->USB adapter available at Radio Shack or by ordering online! Especially awesome if you already have a PS2 controller. Alternatively, the Xbox 360 controllers are USB and PC compatible, and while one of the best gamepads available, they are a little expensive! |

Alternatively, the Xbox 360 controllers are USB and PC compatible, and while one of the best gamepads available, they are a little expensive! I have to agree; there’s something about the XBox controllers that just make them comfortable and great for gaming. Although, I have viewed XBox controllers to be more designed for FPS, while the PS2 controller seems like it better suits fighting games. |

I despise the PS3 controller. Too thin, and the shoulder buttons aren’t like they used to be anymore :( |

I find the large Xbox controllers a little too big for my hands, but either the small xbox controllers or PS2 controllers are fine. I have a PS2 to USB converter myself. Or I could use my PSP as a gamepad :) |
