Kongregate Tweak Scripts (Faster and Better Kongregate!) page 2

Iv had greasemonkey its just I never had to make my own script “Not really my own” inorder to get it working just usally installed and insta in greasemonkey :/ and what do you mean drag and drop it into the browser I have everything made and I drag and drop it at a few places and its just not showing up anywhere.

I just tried this and it works great. It really speeds things up when you mouse over the badges. Whatever changes that script made should be implemented into the site itself because it’s a lot better than it was.

Basically:

Right-click on the Greasemonkey icon

“New User Script”

Fill it out with whatever here – for the includes use

http://kongregate.combadges*

Copy the code and paste (minus the “javascript:”) at the end of the file.

Edit: After some messing around, I found that scrolling on the badge page just kills. The mouseover is sped up, but scrolling takes a major dive in performance. Well done otherwise though.

Let me know what you did. I’ve experienced no such thing.

Granted, my code probably isn’t the fastest or the most optimized…

I have no issues with scrolling. Well, the first time the sidebar takes about half a second to catch up, but after that there are no issues.

I still don’t understand how to implement it on GreaseMonkey :|

I made a user.jr file and dragged it to the browser, and it dd recognise it well. What I don’t know i how is it supposed to work..

Well, you could just bookmark it. And why don’t you include it in the page, Jim? That would improve the page so much!

Matt: if you use Firefox you can get GreaseMonkey which will run the script everytime you load the page. :)

Dazzer – We’re going to do a new code push Monday or Tuesday that will include pagination for the badge page. Just want to let you know as it will affect your script.

We’ll also be redesigning it soon so that people don’t need to use Greasemonkey to get a page that works well…

This all awesome by the way.

It would be great if it told you how many badges you have and how many aren’t completed. That could perhaps be broken down further into amount of badges complete/incomplete for each difficulty. Appreciate the work, Dazzer :D
