EDIT: ArcaneCoder is giving us a server, to put mediaWiki on, so I would recommend you stop making articles, unless they can be easily copy and pasted into the new one.

NOTE: This is not in competition to COCAK in any way. I would prefer that people not think that, as Greg posted in the “Make kong more like guild wars or something like that” thread said someone should create a wiki. I will give access to anyone that asks, I just won’t post it publicly.

This is just people wishing to contribute to Kongregate in their own way. There shouldn’t even be a reason to point out that this isn’t a competition to COCAK, it’s not even going to resemble COCAK.

Edit: In fact I believe that Kong needs much more of this user contribution.

Then I think you have misunderstood what a wiki is about. I very much doubt that it’s going to be about game reviews and such, more likely to be about Kongregate as a whole.

Besides, it never hurts to have a few options for people to choose from.

Maybe we could set up a Kongregate wiki and see what happens. Any volunteers?

smigbob, I’m not joining because I have lots of final exams this month and then, family vacations, which means travelling, which means no computer. That’s why I’m not posting in COCAK, too.

It would be great if you reserve me a spot, because I would like to join later. But it won’t matter if you don’t.

Like I said, anyone can join at any time, I just won’t post the password publicly due to security issues.

I have a feeling Nqkoi1 wasn’t being serious, as COCAK has exactly that. :P

Hey smig, I’m not entirely sure what this is (there have been a lot of posts, yet still I’m none the wiser what this wiki is for), but when someone explains it to me, and if I think it sounds cool, can I join?

DC: Information about Kongregate, games, badges, cards, mods/admins, pretty much anything related to the site.

The page looked really messy to me. I didn’t understand it much. :(

Wiki = information repository. It should be a place for facts, not a place for blogger-like posts, etc. COCAK != wiki and vice versa. Some seem to be confused as to what wikis are used for.

Is there a way to just merge them into one big site? Kind of like Kongregate, and Kongregate all you need to know, question, facts, walkthroughs.

Umm C, we would have to have a web developer, who can merge a wiki and a blog. Could one of you COCAK editors link us?

I think it would be easier and preferable to have them separate. Linking for the time should be sufficient.
