April 1st probably was not the best day to launch this feature. I thought it was a joke and clicked on it, and I guess that Kong interpreted that as a “purchase”. The result was that I now am signed up for a month and had 50 Kreds deducted. Please see screenshot:
While the service seems ok, I find I play the games more efficiently than KongBot does. I also posted in the technical support forum, but can I get the service turned off and my Kreds refunded?

Regardless of the fee, and despite the fact that you put it to test on idle games(they already play themselves), it does sound like a good feature. However people are going to flood with comments about "

People don’t seem to care that it will make it easier to get some of the most difficult badges simply cause of the price tag. I will not be getting the feature, I have kong+ from poweruprewards and I enjoy actually **playing** the games. I was really hoping it was the funny AI in the chat rooms though, you all should add that back in XD.

This is the update we’ve been asking for, for ages. I was at the bar the other day with a few friends and the topic came up that we just don’t have the time anymore to sit around and enjoy the beautiful games uploaded on Kongregate™. The bartender overhead us and he tipped in with how his high scores on Idleplex are always being contested by young sluggers who have all their day to play. Of course this broke out into a very large conversation with the rest of the room so I sat back and took it all in. One man chimed in with his idea of using trained monkeys to play the games for himself. He followed his statement quickly with how it would be far too expensive to up and buy a home to put the monkeys in, and that his mother needed him to keep her safe at night and continue to live in the basement. I heard idea after idea and I felt it was going nowhere fast so I tipped my fedora and made my leave. I am very proud to say you guys have achieved something so amazing. I do hope April 1st is a starting point for the evolution of Kongregate and what it has to offer to it’s players.

damn… im the only one here seeing Kongbot as a big joke? Why we try to get some hard badges on our own if you make a “legal” Programm for every hard Game here? Games are made for playing, not for just looking what a Bot will do. So its now like: ,,pay for every impossible badge you want, because you are to unskilled to get them on your own,,
Im sure there are some ppl will pay for this joke, but for me this idea is a kick in the arse. badges are here to Show that you are good in a Game, but now how we know that “good” Gamer here are not using this Bot for getting the Badges?
Even if the Kongbot would be for free, it sucks. Where are the challenge if now every noob with to much Money can get what a skilled Gamer got.

This is really cool! Would it be possible to ask for extra customization, perhaps with an extra fee? Maybe customize what KongBot will do for you in online games so that I don’t need to stay online to play tyrant faction wars…

I frankly don’t understand why this exists. The whole point of kongregate, is that we come here to play free games. Look at your logo in the upper left. “35,115 online playing 83,251 free games! Kongregate.” But now with kongbot, instead of playing free games…we can pay to NOT play games?
