Fixes for new chat

Yay for the new fix!

But… you can’t go to an account’s profile when you click on it on chat (messages, not the user list) now. Is it intentional?

seems to not work for me.
Don’t see any achievments under the game. ( tried 3 different games with badges )

And in opera the chat still doesn’t load.
( grey screen replaced with a “connecting to chat” animation )

I like the colour scheme for the badges, nice update.

Is it intended that you can’t see a difference between incoming/outgoing whispers anymore?

Opera caches things very aggressively — could you clear your cache and let us know if that fixes it?

But can you please fix the bug where if you are viewing high scores for “friends” and you switch the stat, it goes back to the “last 7 days” category?

I can not open profiles in the chat anymore :/

There’s still a problem sending focus away from the game and back to the chat when you click in the textbox in the chat; I still have to click somewhere else in the chat to be able to type.

Did it, but still didn’t helped.
While clearing the cache, he deleted all my cookies too.
But it should work for a guest too?

They only appear after the chat is fully loaded (and connected).

After setting some cookies, the chat now work in opera.
But it allways worked well with the flash version.

Is there any chance you can “reload” chat again? For example, when I close my Macbook, the game is still there, but the chat never loads again, despite the fact that I have a constant internet connection. I do that because Sonny 2 takes an extremely long time to load, and I don’t want to go through the process of having to load it all over again. 0.0 Is there any way you can get it so chat loads again without having to refresh the page.?

I had unpleasant lag before but now everything is much better! =D thanks guys!

I agree with that completely does it have to reset 7 days every time you go back to check up on chat?

Still laggy here. Now though it show “Connecting to chat” ( it didn’t before this last update). Linux, firefox, flash 10 64bit alpha. Yeah I know it’s alpha, but it works flawlessly everywhere. Please don’t forget us!

Whoops. We rushed this out to fix lag and looks like we missed some bugs. We’re going to try and patch the whisper formatting, profiles not loading from chat (they still work on the room list), and chat profiles not having their headers in IE7.

Some of the other bugs, like the focus issues, the high scores staying on friends, 64 bit flash, whispers failing on line breaks etc. we’ll be working on over the coming days

Yishan, it should be auto-reconnecting, though sometimes Flash will just stop trying if it gets the wrong message. We may ask you for more specifics to debug.

just noticed that pm’s are all screwy. just figure i would point out that im not gettin a to or from message, it looks the same going both ways, the pm boxes don’t have a blue background, and they are not italicsized anymore. just figured i would point that out. :)

I have small request. Can you make pms green or any other colour? it is hard when room is full to see what is pm and what isn´t. Thaaanks

I don’t usually play the games very much, In fact I stopped using Kong for a little while to concentrate on my studies and guitar playing. But now I’ve come back, I was quite surprised at first, but the new chat system is fine. It actually looks much better, is easier to use and now works. Previously, it kept knocking out, although I was still connected to net. But now, it’s been 100% fine. I’m pretty glad with it. Keep up the good work guys.

what happend with the private messages? i can’t make any difference between normal chat or pms.

Good idea. Sometimes italics aren’t enough to grab my attention when I’m playing a game.
