Fixes for new chat page 3

It still doesn’t connect for me.

Actually, it only worked the first game i loaded. Now it’s back to not connecting.

I reported several users in the last couple of days, and i haven’t got any whispers from “Kongregate’s” account. Is all this fixing up of the chat-lag causing me to not get these notices when i report a user?:

Why am I not getting those messages anymore, i loved getting those messages so that I can know that something was done about it.

Was that causing lag..or what?

Uhhhh The chat only loads like every 15 times i load the page it is such a pain is there a way u could change it back but just on my account ( probably not ) i liked the old way a lot better

I like how the badges are displayed under the games now.
One suggestion I have though is to remove obtained badges from under the game since they display on the achievements tab now.
An example, say you obtain an easy badge. It would be checked on the page then hidden on latter visits.

EDIT: Oh wait, it’s showing in Five Minutes to Kill [Yourself]. Not sure about other games.

You have to wait a little but, that happend to me too but with “Platform racing 2”

have filled out the form, have tried a few more things on my side, but still nothing. I randomly connected once today (that’s twice total it’s connected for me in about 45 hours of gameplay), after being on the same game non-stop for over 2 hours. The other random connection happened like that too, I was playing Monster’s Den:BoD and after playing for several hours I suddenly connected to the chat. So it’s not that’s it NOT connecting, but it takes two hours or longer TO connect, making earning badges basically impossible (I’d already gotten the in-game badges for all the Kong badges on Shift 3 before it connected, and beating the game AGAIN didn’t earn them, so I had to submit tickets for them.)

Awsome! now i can just get to the game and no waiting! thanks for helping my short atention span! lol joking. but still this really is awsome!

You do know we still can use the Swastica & other alt letter.

If you need me to i’ll wisper the Swastica I will because it’s not in alt & it’s pretty hard to find.

some minor probs on Dinowaurs, the Battle Chat retains the past players ‘activity’ and the icons of the respective players are not there. plus when I check the high score… it is tiring clicking back n forth (I miss the old format) friends… always revert to last days n its too much list It must be just the top 10.

There are still things that I’m missing from the old chat:

• “/msg” command instead of “/w”.

• HTML-code. I know it was used for chat nukes, but it still has many much better codes, and you could can make things like &#number.

The new chat is just awesome! It´s great that the badges are back under the game again, I missed that a little bit. Just one thing: the message that tells you that you got a badge, is way more boring now (Congatulations! You just earned the _____________ badge and __ points!). I think you should change back to the old one.

How come I don’t see badges below the games?

edit I just figured out you need to wait a few minutes to see it. How come they can’t just make it show instantly?

Please, they fixed it for you, stop complaining

Firefox users: if you’re having trouble connecting, or don’t see any of the changes, trying holding shift and clicking refresh. This will effectively force the page to redownload, ignoring anything you have cached.
