Fixes for new chat page 4

Thanks for putting badges back under game.

Strange, when you click an empty space in the chat list (with the users) it will go to undefined profile. Lol.

Yay! It’s much better! I love the way the achievements are back! (One more thing, whenever I always reconnect the chat goes a bit funny, but it doesn’t really matter.)

When is it actually going to be fixed?

The latest Firefox version 3. And my OS is: Pentium 4 2.80Ghz, 1.48Ghz RAM. No adblocker or anything similar.

EDIT: As of today(May 1st) I can’t even load the game pages. AT ALL. Frustrating indeed.

edit I just figured out you need to wait a few minutes to see it. How come they can’t just make it show instantly?

Kongregate doesn’t control your browser’s cache. That’s between you and your browser.

Sometimes, when I enter a chat, it says I’m muted.
Can you fix that?

My chat is finally working buglessly! Aside from the slight flaw of the loading screen for chat being stuck, above chat (I scroll down to chat). It’s a bug I can live with, though, and the lag is gone! Yay, Kong-Programmers!

Thanks very much, but the badge images have very poor cropping, but thats only below the game and in the chat, it views fine elsewhere. Plz fix!

I am still having issues. Half the time, games will load but the chat will not. When it gives me the error message, it COMPLETELY messes up my browser (Fire Fox 3, latest update). For some reason after it does this I cannot connect to anything with Fire Fox until I manually close it with Task Manager. I cannot even load my homepage. I heard the new chat does not like Fire Fox 3. Is this true?

Thank god, I was going to leave Kongregate altogether if it kept up for any longer. That pre-game lag was intensified by at least 10 seconds!

Was working fine before, but just had a mysterious problem playing Sonny 2. Chat working, light green, everything looking fine and dandy… but it didn’t register either the card or the easy badge.

Had to F5, it connected in the same way as before, everything looking the same… but worked this time.

Most odd.

I think that has to do with the way sonny submit’s API, but don’t quote me on this.

If a \ is typed in chat it gets duplicated into \\

Whispers don’t always work, I’m not sure if it’s connected to message length or copy and pasting, but it can be awkward when a whisper turns up in normal chat.

I’m glad that developers are working hard on this, but why it works the other way round for me ? :( Now even games don’t load :/

1) The achievements are visible below the game, Only after I sign out. The problem I have to do this every time.
2) Chat is still not working properly for me or my family on any of the other 4 computers in our house. The names aren’t even displayed next to the connection icon, unless I sign out and back in.

All of our computers use Ubuntu 8.10 – 9.04 with Firefox 3.0.10, Latest Flash player available and noscript extension.
The thing is, the chat barely worked for us before the redesign, so almost nothing changed for us.

Which flashplayer are you using? flashplugin-nonfree? Make sure you don’t have any other flashplayer like gnash or swfdec installed. Also check if libflashsupport is installed, if it is, remove it (it’s not needed for Flash 10).
Are those 64bit systems or 32bit?

It’s just a blank screen.

I’m glad that you put the achievements,cards,etc, under the game. A lot easier for me to see the achievements rather than clicking a tab.
