KongregARG?

I was on Unfiction today, and, I had a eureka moment. Why can’t Kongregate have an ARG! It’d just be a small trail of puzzles. Even though I doubt that the staff has time for such, It’d be a fun thing for mods to do on the side, and a fun thing for all the people of Kong to do while they wait for the card game. Ideas? Criticizims?

If there was a Kongregate ARG, I think it would be only at US, but I’m at Brazil =(

I would like it. I partook in the Gleemax ARG and it was great fun.

It’s amazing what can be done by the combined brainpower of humanity, isn’t it? Maybe the Kong team would make up a worthwhile problem to solve, like “trisect an angle using only a compass and straight-edge”, or “world hunger”. Solved by humanity in two days, tops. (cookie to anyone who gets the reference)

ARGs are soooooo cool! Too bad they demand too much time to be made, and kong’s staff don’t seem to have that much spare time :P.

We had a pretty good moment with an ARG here in Brazil: as part of an ARG by Coca-cola to promote one of their local drinks, they created the homepage of a company called Arkhos Biotech, in which they defended that the whole Amazon Forest had to be sold to international companies in order to be preserved.

Some days after the creation of the site, one of our senators made an incredibly aggressive speech, inside the Senate, reffering to the fictional company as “one of the boldest attacks to our sovereign land”. Apparently, he didn’t care much for doing a more extensive research inside the company’s home page, since several links led to the ARG’s official site. ¬¬

Too bad the domains used by that ARG are all expired, or I would post the english links for you guys to see.

I just participated in my first ARG, Chain Factor. Although I’m not really into ARGs, I think a KongrARGate would be pretty cool :D

KongrARGate must have a location for the finishing at Singapore. Or else.
