Heh, I would love to write for KCG, and I do have some experience with guides and reviews.

However, I won’t, as I don’t know how dedicated I’ll be to it.

Finally someone agrees. Video walkthroughs take to long. I think that for any game we already have a video walkthrough for, and that we COULD have a text walkthrough, there should a text version too. Someone should add them.

IMHO, a lot of game are easier to beat with a video guide.

A lot of people (like myself) are confused by the way a lot of text guides are explained. Especially
those without any visual aid. Of course, that’s just my opinion on it, and I really like text
guides just at much as video guides despite that fact.

Yeah, text walkthroughs are great if combined with images, if not, they can be confusing as Hokage said, and if that happens to me, I have to then watch a video walkthrough which is kind of annoying, as you’ve tried to use another type of walkthrough already.

In my opinion:
Text + images walkthrough > Video walkthrough > Text walkthrough.

I agree. That couldn’t be any more true.

Or better yet, if dedicated guide-makers (who’d be willing to spend a great deal of time on a guide) would make a text guide with pictures, with short videos to show how to beat tough parts, and a full playthrough video at the end of the guide. I think that would be the perfect guide. :o

Meh, if I had the skill to write guides, I would make some in-depth like that. :P

Although I just can’t write guides, I’ve tried before, I just plain suck at explaining things (I prefer writing than taping guides). XS

PlatinumIce, I think you should give a go at video reviews. I’m not good at reviews so it wasn’t any good, so in my opinion you’ll do awesome at them. (If you’re interested and don’t know what to download, shout/whisper me)
