AFK Color Chooser Script

Have you ever wanted to change the color of the AFK (Away From Keyboard) users in chat? Now you can. I’ve designed a script, with a lot of help from Ventero, that allows you to change the color of the users that are AFK to whatever color you want using hexadecimal colors. Here’s what you need to do:

1) Get the Greasemonkey extension from Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

2) Install my script by going to the website below.

NOTE: This script should also work with Google Chrome (and greasemonkey). Could any Chrome users post here if the script works/doesn’t work for them? Thank you :)

Its good script, I like it… The only thing I have to say is that I think you should do a version which accepts both /afkcolor and /afkcolour as it improves ease of use for English users (such as me) and I dont think it would be particularly hard to implement…

That would be nice, I’ve already had a few accidents with that.

I like it. It’s cool. My favorite color will be red, cause it helps me a lot.

Small hint: Instead of writing the same code twice, just use

holodeck._chat_commands.afkcolour = holodeck._chat_commands.afkcolor

after adding the “afkcolor”-chatcommand.

It isnt working for me :(

I have used quite a few other scripts without problem, but for some reason this wont work for me.

How is it not working? In chat it says “invalid color”? Remove the #.

My mistake, I was being stupid. Didn’t realise I had to type the “/afkcolour” thing xD

I love this script. I just there was a slightly better way to change the color. Like the mod call script that was just written. It adds it to the drop down menu in chat, I wish we could do the same here. But really great so far.

Where can you find some codes for different colors at?

EDIT: I couldn’t find the topic that had it in it but does anyone have the link to the other thread that has the FF script that shows total badges earned and amount of each type still left to earn. Sorry that this is kinda off topic
