I want Invisible mode. So that we can appear offline and still be able to earn badges.

This probably belongs in the suggestions thread at the top of the page.

You can. Start up a game you want to play, start up another, then close the last one. You are now in “offline mode”. Play the game until you’re about to get the badge and log back on for the statistics to report correctly, then perform the same movement.

Why would you be online, and want to appear as offline?
I don’t see the need for not showing up as online at all.

There’s a /afk command script if it interests you.

I don’t see why you’d want to appear offline. After 15 minutes in chat, when your name turns grey, people will get the message. Or, if people try to talk to you, just say one time: “Sorry, I’m playing a game. Maybe later. D:”.

It would also be useful for Moderators who do not want to get bothered.

And if they want their badges on their main account?

Why be a moderator if you want to get badges on your main account? I mean, I can understand people sometimes getting stressed over being a moderator, but for the small amount of time you’re at another account, you can live without the badges. Aside from that, the only thing you would be worrying about is people whispering you left and right, or eruptions in your chat. Clicking your game tab will prevent you from seeing any of them.
It’s not that I’m against implementing such a feature, if it’s possible, but you can already help yourself at the moment.

You may not want people to know that you are online. e.g. JimGreer may not want people sending him Fan Whispers whenever he is online.

I can see great purposes for a appearing offline feature, for if you just don’t want to talk in chat but people still are bothering you you’re then not there. Or the fact that you try to just idle but a person is trying to talk to you, a good friend maybe but you just feel guilty because they keep harassing you for not talking to them.

Who’s JimGreeg?
Besides, he could just ignore the fan whispers.

JimGreer + Greg = JimGreeg.
I fixed it.
