Is it against Kongregate’s Terms of Service to use my alt accounts to give weapons to my real account?

You can’t gift to other accounts with the same IP-address.

They’ve got some sort of IP jiggery pokery at work here. Can’t give weapons to yourself using alts.
I just used my alts to give weapons away to other people, though. Ducklette told me that’s allowed.

It would be easiest to use the OT Weapons Trade

To be honest, I am pretty far behind in updating the thread (I hope to have it up to date by this evening) mostly due to the large amount of traffic going through it, the rest due to my need to sleep. It has proven to be pretty successful.

(I’ve decided to bump this one rather than create a new topic to vent my annoyance)

Yeah, though for some people it’s easy to change IPs, I actually told my housemate about the event and we wanted to gift each other but found out we couldn’t, we could work around it but ultimately decided not to.

But I’m annoyed by all the alts, I was slowly and unobtrusively working my way to a full collection when suddenly I got a lot of weapons from “people” who made their accounts on November 22nd 2009 (one of those accounts is even named “newalt3”). This is kind of annoying as it ruins all the fun from the event, I wish only accounts that are like two weeks or older could participate or something along these lines, it wouldn’t save us from alt abuse but it would at least prevent making new ones.

I’ve had most of my alts for over a year. Only two weeks wouldn’t stop me, sorry :P
Some people don’t get the same sorta fun out of this silly event as you might, so I thought I’d just give people their thirty points, and be done with it.
