Most people come on kongregate to play games, but with every game you play comes a conjoined chatroom. A chance to gloat about your progress, meet other players and generally chat.

But how do you choose the ultimate chatroom. The kind where i, everyone talks english. The kind where ii, the chatroom isnt lines upon line of sad people with nothing better to do than write “ish ish ish ish” The kind where theres not just dead silence ocassionally broken by someone cherring woooo. Then it returns to silence.

Which chatroom do you use? What do you look for in a chatroom? Or which chatroom is totally crapped? and if you had one nuke. It would land eversogracefully on that.

I mute chat all the time, still, I prefer the one with least people in it regardless of chatroom language.

Difference Engine, just because its mine. Cafe Kong gets put farther down on the list, because of all the random actions that happen there, all the time.

From what I’ve seen, I think The Bleachers is the best chat hands-down. If I hadn’t found that room, I doubt I would be quite so active on Kongregate.

Digg Mark 1. Unless there’s a lack of moderators (quite often), it’s cool. I like to surf around a few different rooms, though; Café Kong, The Van, Hall of Odin, Sanctuary.. ^.

I heart the Van. But I have a kind of loyalty to General as my “first.” ;)

DM1 can be really cool, but as wizky said if there’s no mods around it tends to get a but wild.
