yes it did. no they didn’t.
10.3 was a beta while 10.2 was a beta. i don’t expect 10.3 to be released until molehill is.
i don’t know for certain that 10.3 is indeed the molehill API beta, however, it certainly seems that way to me.

an API providing low-level access to the hardware graphics card’s programmable 3D shaders. if not present, then it uses a fast software renderer.
and it uses DirectX on windows and OpenGL on other devices.
