I dont understand what happen to my game.

I put three months of work into Clickality 2 and got less than 300 plays. But it was a sequal to Clickality which got almost 900 plays. Lol the first one was done in less than 2 weeks. I admit the Items I added are a little un-comfy to use, but at least you can hold items now. I made a lot of advancements from the first one, including a save feature which has 3 slots, upgradable perks tied to a leveling system and even added more achievments.
Any one got any ideas or comments? The worst part is I didn’t get any feed back from the few who did play it. I just want to know what happen, do you think it was just a lack of marketing, like somehow it feel behind the radar?

Sequels of ok but not great games tend to get low plays. On a lower scale, my game Dual Avoidness got 530 plays, and I spent a week on it. Dual Avoidness 2 got 2 or 3 months, with only 300 plays and about the same rating even though it included things people suggested. I think with lower rated games people just don’t care enough to come back to see what you’ve done to improve, as they already think of your game as bad.

Ahhh your dual Avoidness is a pretty sweet concept man. I would roll with it for your next game, but dont do the triple one. I think that gets a little too intense. But I deff agree about people not comming back, but oh well you just got to keep cranking them out anyway. Thats what Tomb Raider did.
