So for years I have been wanting to either try my hand at making a better game than my first dos Game(super small text game) from around 1989. A game that was a better vesrion of Indianapolis 500 - which was a dos Game. but only. you could really lose and go bankrupt, without any ways to continue.
Today Now I still would love to have a Game just as such, Nascar 2018 from the PS2 system aka- fitted with an actual shop. a place and game where when yu break it - you buy it/ replace it. where yes you could end up driving on Bald tires that go out on that very lap. good luck with a win from that! or suspension so bad that your body is nearly destroyed on every turn.
what would it take for someone to build a real nascar game. maybe in contruct 3?

Construct 3 is a 2D game editor, so you'll be limited to 2D if you want to use that.
A simple 2D racing game shouldn't be very hard to build, but you'll need to get creative if you want to model a lot of systemic detail/accurate physics.
But, speaking from experience: even a game that isn't very hard to build can be exceeding difficult, especially if you are just starting out. I'd reccommend starting by building a very, very, very simple 2D racing game, as well as some simple 2D games in other genres (the breadth of things you'll have to make will improve your skills, I think). Then, when you think you're ready, move on to that complex racing game.

(And getting feedback also helps you too! Have family/friends play your work, and maybe send work-in-progress builds to other game developers. I'm willing to play almost anything people send me.)
