Cannot get my health bar to work discussion on Kongregate page 2

I have tried to follow the instructions in this forum and have seemingly fixed the evident errors in my code. I have made a MC in a MC to create the health bar but when I use the code ( healthMeter.bar.\_xscale = health;), it does not seem to do anything. Perhaps it is a naming problem or something but I can not find it. Can n31 help m3 please.

Nov 20, 2008 4:48pm Yellowmongoose 1 post	metadata Hello! I’m stuck with the health bar as well. However, my problem is different to all the others I’ve seen on here. My problem is that the health bar doesn’t stop going to the left when it reaches 0. It carries on going to the left past the border. Can’t see any problems with my code. The register point is in the top left hand corner of the bar. Can anyone help by pointing out where I’ve gone wrong? Edit: My housemate just pointed out to me that I had put the code for dying in the wrong place. I put it in resetHealth instead of updateHealth. I knew I’d done something daft.
