Here’s a few things to add (If somebody else posted any of these already, I don’t know)
DO’s
-Keep a set of spare items in your vault. Then, if you die and lose your equipment, you wont have to go searching for more when you start over. Make sure that if you’re planning to be a different character in your next game, your spare equipment should be for your next character. Whether you want your spare equipment to be better or worse than the stuff you’re using is up to you.
-Carry a good supply of potions. Doing so will prevent you from relying only on priests and other healers, starving your mana supply in tight situations, warping to the nexus too often, or otherwise causing you to die more quickly and/or miss out on powerful items from bosses. I suggest carrying 4 potions at all times, and balancing them between HP and MP. However, it’s your decision as to how you stock your potions.
-Grab equipment that you don’t need. Just because you don’t have any need for it doesn’t mean nobody else does. You might be able to get something very useful if you trade it in the nexus, and if not, then you can drop it in the nexus and get rid of it quickly and easily. After all, you can’t trade without unneeded equipment, and you can’t get unneeded equipment without picking it up! It’s likely easier to trade an item of a different character for an equal-tier one for yours than to fight a boss again until you get the right item. Just be sure not to grab too much or take completely useless stuff; you’ll need to be picky about what you take back to the nexus.
DON’T’s
-Suicide. Whether you’re changing to a character you just unlocked or ready to collect your fame, it’s pointless and often downright stupid. You can change characters with the conveniently placed grey statue at the lower part of the nexus.if you need to. If you’re collecting fame, it’s often better to go fight a powerful boss or explore a challenging dungeon, because at least then you might get more fame or a decent item. You won’t gain anything by resetting yourself back to level 1 and losing your best equipment, and doing so on purpose isn’t any better. Letting a monster kill you is stupid and cowardly, and you’ll never reach the high score board by giving up.
-Join a bad guild. What I mean is you shouldn’t be a part of a guild that doesn’t do much at all as a guild. A good guild should actually do things like organize groups to go defeat some boss or dungeon or something like that. If you’re not doing anything with the rest of your guild, then what’s the point of being in it? You don’t necessarily have to leave a guild if you’re not benefiting from it, though; you could try to make the guild better, such as talk to the founder and get him/her to start doing stuff, or even start these things yourself (with permission though; don’t get yourself kicked out) and take charge.

Probally the stupidest thing you can do is try to eat a bowl of ice cream whil fight oryx. It will most likely get you killed, like it killed me.

One more thing that you must NOT do when fighting oryx.
When Oryx throws his silent bomb(AKA he taunts with “BE SILENT!!!”),DON’T GO INSIDE IT!Oryx will kill you.Be patient.Attack oryx at the right time.I’ve seen so many people died because going inside the bomb.

I disagree with you on this. Suiciding to change to another character to unlock more characters is fine by me. Actually, it’s even better than deleting your character, because the latter will ignore the fame you earned on your character. In order to get the fame you deserve, you HAVE to die. If I would follow your suggestion, and delete my character everytime I wanted another one, I wouldn’t have any fame at all. As for the equips, your vault/guildies will take care of them.

Dungeon entrances are monster drops, and the harder the dungeon, the more dangerous the monster that drops it. You can find out exactly which drops what at the wiki.

Woah guys, chill off the caps.
If you are teleporting in-land, look for someone who isn’t moving on the map. This will mean that there are not monsters nearby, and that they’re safe to not move. That, or you could teleport to a large group in the godlands, and then move out from there.

What he said. Just watch out because everyone adds to their just because they want it to be big even though 90% of it could be composed of unactive members

linknut888 posted that you should just play tohou then play this and win forever… just wanted to let everyone know it doesn’t work like that. I was doing fine till I hit a confuse +lag, and then I died, but hey, if you can use your bullet hell shooting skills, then more power to you, but just remember, this game has a few speed bumps that can screw that skill up for good.

what to do when you see a medusa:shoot at it from a distance, using cloak(if your a rogue) or other stuff to kill it.
what NOT to do when you see a medusa:run up to it while its shooting at you and hug it,hoping you get a baby medusa.
what to do when you see a sprite world:dont go in it. that is if you want to try to solo.
what NOT do:go in it as a lvl 1 and hope limon will crap endless potions.
what not to do in oryx:use drake eggs/rare items. you’ll die fairly fast.

I also suggested something else for those who want the fame:

If you do something like teleport into the godlands with no equipment, you could earn some more fame, or even get some leftover equipment. Also, you might find stuff that’s better than what’s in your vault. As for your “guildies”, not every guild is active and organized; even if it is, you shouldn’t be relying on your guild members to just give away items, and your fellow members won’t be too happy if you’re begging for equipment.

Something you shouldn’t do in a dungeon: Type something after the dungeon boss has been beaten (There are still monsters). I was typing in Abyss of Demons and a Demon brute killed my lvl. 20 rogue

You mean the inner circle? It’s a good thing to go in there, since its 1 phase where you can do damage to him and get your soulbound loot. You just have to be quick on avoiding his bombs that he drops, thats why we call it dancing.

Do:
If you think your low character is not powerful even if you put powerful equipment on it,put the equipment back on the vault.I do that with my huntress that almost got killed by a horde of monster equipping a Gbow and Wyvern armor. Was going to train my character.Accidentally teleported to a crystal prisoner with no bow or armor(because I put it on my vault)and died.On the other hand,my Gbow and Wyvern armor is still safe!
