I checked “Realm of the Mad God F.A.Q.” and “ROtMG FAQ: Newbies Please read!” and the wiki at "http://forums.wildshadow.com/wiki/realm-mad-god " and “[Guide] RotMG Kongregate Community Guide” and none of these mention guilds.

• How does one start a guild?
• How does one join/invite to a guild?
• What benefits does a guild provide to its members?
• What are the meanings of guild ranks?
• How does one advance/upgrade a guild?
• Is there a means for checking guild status outside the RotMG game?
• Is there a means for checking the status of guilds for which you are not a member?

I found my answers — in the game’s changelogs:

Guilds

Build 121

• Can create a guild for 1000 Fame at Guild Register
• Guilds can have up to 50 members
• Guilds have 4 ranks: Leader, Officer, Member and Initiate
• Guild Hall is a shared space for players in a guild
• Guild Chronicle shows current players in the guild
• Guild Board is a text shared by the Guild
• Players in a guild can chat with each other via “/g hello”

Build 122

• When a new guild is created, the creator will now be the “Founder”
• Founders can demote/remove Leaders
• Existing Guilds won’t get a Founder (sorry)
• Guild Fame: When a player earns fame, his guild earns an equal amount of Guild Fame.
• Guild Fame can be spent by the leaders of the Guild.
• Currently Guild Fame can only be used to buy better Guild Halls, but it will be given more uses in future builds.

I upgraded my guild and nothing happened and I lost all the points :(

wait for about 10 minutes outside guild and it will be changed ;)

If i have made a guild and renounce as founder will i get my fame back

why did u revive this?

Is there a guild vault when higher upgraded? What upgrades are there for guild halls? Can I see other guild member in the guild hall with me? Is there a way to see who is online?

There is no guild vault. Ever. All guild upgrades just make the thing bigger and fancier. That’s it. You can see guild members in the hall, as long as they are in the guild hall located in the same server you are currently in. For example, if you’re sitting in the guild hall on USWest, you can’t see any guild members that are not in the guild hall in USWest. You can’t see members currently online unless you happen to see them while playing, though there is a message in the chat that shows whenever a guildie comes online, saying, “_______ has come online.”

No. Renouncing does nothing other than remove yourself from the guild, and delete it if you’re the last person.
