What modifications are allowed?

Seeing as how the competition rules say that the game has to be based on the tutorials and thus, on the game Shoot!, what kind of deviations are allowed?

I mean, if the tutorials helped me make my first game, a platform/shooter/puzzle hybrid, would that be allowed in the competition? Or only direct Shoot! variations with different enemies, bosses, ship, background, music, etcetera… Thank you, Tarus

I think you can go nuts with your contest entry. But it has to be a shooter with all the Shootorials elements.

yea jsut have it have the Shoot! elements in it. Otherwise change and add what ever you want.

The idea is to use the shootorials as a starting point, but you can change them in any way that you want.

im gunno make a hack in smash rpg bashed game oh wait rpg games take ages might as well make it a short mayhem spree * yay*
