For as long as you have revenge option on someone you should be able to spy on them regardless of any power levels.
revenge option is only good for 2 days i think. Correct me if I’m wrong.
2 things:
1) If they attacked you then they are in range for you to attack/spy them back thus I don’t understand the point of your post
2) If they depowered to attack you and went back up then you shouldn’t be able to spy them anyways. Besides, they are just cowards anyways
Just ask a galaxy mate that is in range to do it for you =)
They can be under hit protection, in which case they can’t be spied upon. (and, herm, didn’t you depower recently? ;) Yes, you didn’t go back up. But still, who could beat someone depowered that is four level up their own tech unless they have rare skills level 5+ and even then? [Not criticizing the strategy, just pointing out how it is also part of the fact that small lvl 3 gals don’t want to participate in pillar raids when people get matched to depowered people. And I’m not out of topic since this is about feedback, huh? ;)])

Hit protection has been a talked about issue for some time now. You should, in my opinion, be able to spy on those under protection so that seems like a seperate issue of itself.
Yes, I have depowered but as you pointed out, I don’t go back up after attacking. If you are curious why, this is due to the fact that I just recently acquired 2 new purple war hero’s.
To answer your question: it is very possible and easy to beat someone with higher tech as war/skills make up for a lot.
I’d also like to point out that while my power is lower than it was before my 2 new purple hero’s I am still not using an MF to trick people into attacking me and losing all their ships, like MANY low lifes are under 50m, nor am I using fighters, for yet an even lower power level, and completely destroying anyone that would attack me. That being said it is very easy/possible for someone to beat me at my current state if they have decent hero’s/skills/tech and aren’t completely com gimped. Sadly the only people I’ve been attacking at my current lower power level are very com gimped.
I can understand your point of view and your stance on the matter but let me assure you that even if my tech was 10 levels lower I’m positive I would still beat the people I’ve been farming recently, at my lower power, while my new hero’s level up.

Ah yes, it (hit protection) has been discussed at length but Silentwoe was including this in his post. And sometimes, you have to show that many people complain about the same thing to get a change from the big cheese.
I would say skills matter more (if they are high up) than war. So it’s up to luck and coupons, it seems… Or gold, if you’re that way ;)
And as for the pillar thing, I tried Otis while it was held by your gal, and I was matched with you. I lost 4AP and 108 ships and gained 60 coupons (I even tried twice, since I’m stubborn). No thanks. I’m not crying over that, it’s just not worth it. I prefer gem raids, it’s more social and rewarding. I just know now where not to step into. Pillars are for the “elite”, I don’t belong there. I’m not even sure I want to as this is just a game and it seems some take this too seriously.

You’ll excuse me if I question your assumption of Silentwoe’s implication of protection when they did not mention any such thing in their original post but instead added “regardless of any power levels”, thus my response was addressing the obvious and not any unmentioned, but implied, commentary.
I would disagree with you on the skills comment. Skills are merely a multiplier as far as this game is concerned. If your base war/damage is 0 then all the skills in the world wouldn’t help you.
And as for the pillar thing
ROFL
I’m sorry to laugh but 108 ships is rather impressive! Was that 108 lost in a single PVP vs. me or is this a combination of PVP+pillar done more than once, as you mention ‘twice’?
Do me a favor and PM me your galaxy/ingame name, if it varies. I promise I will not attack you unless you happen to be of a war/hostile relation with my galaxy >:) I’m just curious of your war/com vs. mine.
Also if you were attacking a pillar on your own then the game doesn’t really support that much and you’ll take heavy losses. If you were part of a group then I’m positive your experience would have been must nicer.

Silentwoe was complaining about not being able to spy on people who attacked him and not being able to evaluate them to know if he could use revenge. In your counter reply, you didn’t include “hit protection”, which is why I mentionned it.
You can attack me, I don’t care. This game is about people attacking people who have less power seemingly or really than themselves and people finding tricks to make others believe they have less power than they really do. In a way, it’s about capitalism and how it works, which is why I find it fascinating.
Of course, 4 AP would imply two rounds as Ivy said in his thread. And solo as well, as I do care for my people and I wanted to know first if it was worth, at our level, risking depleting entire fleet for a bunch of coupons.
I won’t reply to the rest as it is not worth it. :)

yes, spy, but he mentions ‘power level’ twice and ‘protection’ not even once. Could they have meant protection? Of course. Is it obvious/clear that they meant it regardless of the fact they’ve never said it and hinted to power level twice? No it is not.
Also, 4ap would not imply 2 rounds as it could mean 2 different things: 2x successful pvp’s or 1x failed pvp in terms of pillars.

give up what? Trying to understand your point/comment?
You aren’t being very clear and are jumping to conclusions that I’m not understanding based on the information provided.
If you don’t want a response from someone to a comment you make on a forum then don’t post anything at all and especially don’t quote that person. If you don’t want to clarify the comments you make that don’t make sense then so be it. If you do, then here’s the 2 that I’m referring to:
1) “protection” assumption of silentwoe when it hasn’t been mentioned by anyone but you
Originally posted by Silentwoe:
regardless of any power levels.
2) 4ap used in a pillar raid does not imply a single event and has 2 possible outcomes
2a) 2 successful pvp’s = 4ap
2b) 1 failed pvp = 4ap

Players who create their own galaxies shouldn’t have to spend
AP visiting their members planets in that galaxy.
Visiting outside their galaxy, they would use AP then.
Just a suggestion. that could be riddled with holes anytime now :)

galaxy owners shouldnt be deleted through inactivity since they made the galaxy they should have the right to be inactive and not thrown out of there galaxy unless you plan on refunding the galaxy owners with the donations and cost if they do get thrown out of there galaxy due to inactivity say like if they have to go away for some time like jail or end up in hospitale seriusly ill come back to find that there hard work went down the drain

simple thought here, why isnt there a time of post feature on all chat and other chat features? countless times i find myself and others answering an old question to players that have already left. all chat still seems aquard at times and havng even just a referance of time will help make things a little easier for someone looking away for a few minutes.
another easy concept, more background music.yes the current stuff is pleasent, but it gets old after a player has listened to the same 2 tracks of 30 second loops over an\d over daily. yes i even mute it some times, but why have a feature when it is often ignored or unused? perhapse a few mor tracks would help liven up the place. perhapse a track for the home galaxy menu and solar system, another for friendly galaxies or something less easygoing for hostile and war set galaxies. all i am asking is to make the music a little less bland. and PM, music helps bring in and keep players very well, its one of those things not everyone pays attention to but everyone likes. this would not only liven up the game but could bring you more revenue, please consider it.

1) you could try PMing the person. Also the chat window and message length is rather small enough as it is
2) itunes/youtube/slacker/etc

true as both options are, as i sometimes do, thate first requires not being a slacker although that is possible, its just a request for a simple feature alot of games have. as for the second idea, i use other sources of music already, its just a though ive hear many say and honestly it would be nice to actually want to hear the music on TW again and actually enjoy it. the point was only that it would be pleasent and possibly more entertaining to have more music on the game. for PM that would bring more people’s focus to the game rather than having it be just a time waste background game sme people have claimed it to be. i wont say the music itself will change much, just that in general people pay more attention to things if its got better music. thats proven marketing. if people pay more notice to it, even with just better music, they are more likely to spend money on it as they will enjoy it just thatmuch more. its not a major upgrade and it could easily have a strong general efect. for people like me its just nice, for PM its good buisness stratagy. people are lazy and attracted to good music, we even had a galaxy bound by heavy metal, proof that it has sway even in the little things we do. yes we individually can fix it, but i wasnt posting just for me in this instance, i was posting for the general thoughts of many individuals

Just a correction: nvillian1 was talking about Slacker Radio, like Pandora Radio. Not people slacking off.

I think he got it though and his ‘slacker’ comment might have been in regards to not being a slacker and not sending someone a PM

It would be greatly helpful to let us buy something from the mall despite our inventory being full. It was a low level blue, but I clicked on a box and got the “inventory full” message. I cleared a spot and went back, and the box I had clicked on presented a blue to someone else. If it were an item I needed, I would have been very upset.

I’d like to be able to set up teams for pillar raids BEFORE the pillar goes out of protection.
This way a team can only start atking when it comes out of protection, but we can be ready just as fast as everyone that solo, considering pillar raids are suppose to be about teamwork.
Feel free to post your opinion

On the raid screen, wonder if the ‘leave’ button can be moved to the left side, with the power score in the middle.
That way you dropped straight down, from the exit button, to get ready; and not have to think about missing the leave button.

This suggestion isn’t gonna happen, you’ll see why when the expansion comes out on the live server.
