One of the tasks for each day is to attack 3 players. Up until a week ago, I’ve had no problem doing that. Lately however, whenever I click on players names that show up bright yellow, there is no option for attack. What’s going on?

Galaxy > Player with yellow name > (Check if they’re not protected) View > Pick a planet > Attack
Are you doing all this?

Bright yellow, you can attack them. Light yellow, they are under hit protection. Attacking & beating the same players over & over will put them under hit protection.

Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between the yellows. Maybe it would be a good idea to change “hit protected” people to blue (not used in this display), just so it’s obvious…

Some people might interpret that as ally then due to alliance font is blue. I don’t believe it is hard to tell them apart in my opinion. Meh, then again I been pvping for months so I am used to it.

i have to agree with brightsky on this one, unless you are color blind, the contrast is more than clear enough to distinguish between those who are in protection and those who are not

I was going to mention color blind people too but then again there are words for them to read. I believe those who have the misfortune / not have the privilege to see colors shall adapt like always. Of course, they should be accommodated if possible.

The game window is not zoomable and depending on the computer I play on, the fonts for gal members are tiny or very tiny. If alliance is when a gal shows “intimate” (instead of neutral) in the gal screen then I can tell you I have not seen people marked in blue in their gal display.

And btw, Playmage, you might want to correct this: “You can not attack target since galaxy’s relation has bean intimate!” ;)

After months of playing, I figure out you can zoom in if you desire so. Also recently you can also enlarge the whole game. To zoom in on the game a specific area; press right click then select zoom in while in the game screen. To return to normal game screen view. Right click & select zoom out on game screen.
To zoom / enlarge the whole game view; press Ctrl + (hold down Ctrl & press + symbol on keyboard). To zoom out / shrink the whole game view; press Ctrl – (hold down Ctrl & press – symbol on keyboard)
I hope that helped you.

Of course, I already tried those. :) The flash zoom function is not convenient as the window stays the same and you lose part of the area but you’re right, could be a possibility, I just don’t like it. As for the browser zoom function, it doesn’t increase the size of the game, only what’s around it, so useless.
