Which Starter Kit would you choose and why?

1. Regular Kit
2. Large Kit
3. Mega Kit
4. No kit (build from stretch)

Please state your reasons.

Mega Kit because it’s the biggest kit and looks all smexy gold and is somewhat functional. Also it gives you a bunch of leveled up flinger/catapults and housing :/

Mega, because what Sticks said.

Let me share my opinion:

I’ve used Large Kit for every outpost. (Total 20)

Because there is some cons of Mega Kit

1.
I have question whether the cost of resources (50M/50M/25M/0) is efficient than Large Kit (12M/12M/6M/0 only). I’m not sure but 50M/50M costs give me a “feeling” that it is too high.

2.
There is a risk that other players can take over the new outpost if I don’t build something immediately. Yes, others can take over it easily too if I use Large Kit (since the defence is not ready yet after protection time), but the risk is lower in timing (be ready faster than Mega)

Well…. for some safe spot, I’m still considering to use Mega Kit or not.

p.s. I personally don’t recommend Regular Kit because it is just too slow!
Your worker is ready to work once you choose a kit. And all buildings are up at same time too!

What is your opinion?

@trickysticks and @noobin8er

Yeah… gold wall is a great strategy to scarce some players.
Mega Kit outlook do the same job too!

Do you think 50M costs is too high?

Before when small kits cost 1-2m ish, it’s very cost-efficient to build those, and start a longterm outpost skeleton that you can add buildings to…however, since the price got bumped to 5m ish, i’d go with large kit and design a better outpost from that.

Large kits until you can afford mega-kits.

Since kong does not support tables…

does not include Housing, Hatchery, Harversters, Flinger, Catapult costs & times, because I lost patience half-way. Walls numbers are guessed.

“Real value gained – aka construction cost”
Kit / Twigs / Pebbles / Putty / Hours of construction
Regular / 5,517,000 / 5,967,000 / 1,580,000 / 56
Large / 16,212,500 / 16,887,500 / 2,495,000 / 95
Mega / 84,638,000 / 84,858,000 / 20,108,000 / 346

and – large till You can afford mega.

@thc1234 thanks.
most of time, we only need to make decision with just-enough information.

never build a small one if you can avoid it, you should be able to.

Larges and when you can , megas.

Mega’s are just SO worth it , all the time saved really matters. Who cares about res anyway.
