This thread will detail our planned updates and new features.

1.0) Release
-General bug fixes, balance, interface polish, etc

1.1) Fleets
-This is our guild system, and will allow players to create their own fleet or to join existing fleets.
-Fleet members won’t be able to attack each other
-Fleet members will have their own private chatroom

1.2) Empire space
-Players and fleets will be able to take control of systems outside the main ‘mission’ sector.
-Players will be able to build up automated defenses and other buildings in systems they own
-Owned systems generate special resources that can be used in manufacturing to create the most powerful items in the game
-Fleet members will get messaged when your system is attacked, even if you’re offline!

I believe that multi-platform (not OS) will be the next trend for web game.

Patch 1.2.22

-Asteroid resource yield increased
-Component numbers are now shown on loot crates while mining
-Manufacturing costs have been adjusted. Low level items are significantly cheaper to produce
-Added an option to manufacture multiple items at once
-Added two specialized mining ships
-Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause PvP protection to disappear
-Fixed UI tooltips for Weapons with multiple skills
-Added category buttons to the Hangar (Equipment, Ships, Components)

Can you guys make a feature so that I can invite people to my fleet? If there is one, I can’t find it. It would help a lot for starting friends. Especially if fleet names a long, complicated, or have intricate letters. Thanks!

-Display last login time of members
-Quick member count access
-Separated Fleet chat tab

-More repeatable missions!

1.5) Empire Space – mid April
-Unoccupied sectors have been discovered in deadspace!
-Suit up with your Fleetmates and take over your own Solar Systems
-Build up your defenses to protect your territory while you’re away
-Mine rare elements to build the most powerful items and ships in the game
-Level Cap increasedto 25!

Bah, they delayed empire space even further.

Now I have to wait 1+ months for empire space… screw this.

It’s worth the wait I would say as you can prepare your fleet from now with kicking all the inactive players and adding in other members.

Ridiculous, 1.4 hardly has any improvements for the players but fleets……. not even any credit bonus from fleet?

Relax, Be grateful that new content is added at least rather then being negative to everything. Fleets needs improvements before Empire Space comes out as both updates links into the other.

Patch 1.4.7 up

Fleet Improvements:
Fleet Message – Like Tyrant’s Faction message.
Faction Chat Tab – A separate tab for faction chat, so you don’t have to worry about /f
Last Log On – Displayed to help remove people who were active and are no longer
Member Count – Displayed next to the overall Fleet Rating

Ranks:
Leader – Kick Generals, Recruiters, and Members, Accept/Reject Applicants, Change Fleet Message, Choose Fleet Tag (if implemented), Cannot Leave(!)
Captain – Kick Members, Accept/Reject Applicants, Promote Member to Recruiter
Recruiter – Accept/Reject Applicants
Member – None

Fleet Tag – Clan tag that can be shown before names like "[KONG] KStich’ (This cake is a lie)
Remove cinematic NPC battles from Combat log
Reduced Star Token cost for skill boosts

Unofficial Changes
Mining Laser turned from yellow to white

I love the Fleet improvements because now you can set others to accept request to join also you can now kick all the inactive players for new ones. :D

why the heck they keep changing the mining laser colour is beyond me… this is the 3rd change so far…its funny and intriguing

When I saw the mining laser colour change, I had thought it was another glitch but it in fact was intended.

Nope. New version was released March 15 around midnight, and we still only have the once-a-day repeatable: “Gideon Contract”.

-We’ve made improvements to the chat server. This may be weird/inconsistent at first but it’s on the path to improvement

Next up 1-2 weeks
-Improvements to response time
-Level 25 cap increase

Confirmed. Repeatable missions I found are:

  • Gideon Contract (Republic; level 20 & 25 opponents)

  • DLM Salvage (Labour Union; level 15 opponents)

  • Reaper Second Wind (Council; level 18 opponents)

  • Council Exhibition (Council; level 30 opponents)

  • Precious Metal (The Risen; level 18, 20 & 22 opponents)

  • Defense Training (Vesper; level 20, 25 & 30 opponents)
  • … wait, level 30 opponents? Holy cow.

    There’s like 3 or so missions which you must kill these council guardians which are really tough for non-token players. :(
