Content Updates

  • The valid battle requirement for percentage of Battle Points lost has been slightly adjusted. For a battle to count as a win or to count towards achievements, bounties, or change in Battle Rank, the following requirements need to be met:
Each WarMage needs to use at least 95% of the maximum Battle Points allowed for the battle. For a 5000 Battle Point, 4750 Battle Points must be brought into battle.
The losing WarMage must lose at least 35% (down from 50%) of his or her Battle Points. For a 5000 Battle Point, 1750 Battle Points must be lost.
Regardless of whether or not the battle is considered valid, the losing WarMage will receive a loss.
  • The store has been updated to make it easier to purchase items with Gold or Coins.
  • The store has been updated with some new content for your WarMage Portrait. 10 Ancestral, 10 Geneva, and 10 Wandering Tunic outfits have been added to the store for Human Females. 10 Noralan Helmets have been added to the store for Human Males.
  • The speed at which squads move from one hex to another has been increased. We will be adjusting some of the battle unit movement animations so they better match the new speed in future updates (see Known Issue).

Release Notes for Beta Version 1.7

New Features

  • A new Ranked Battle System is now available. 2 and 4 player Ranked Battles are accessed through the orange buttons on the lower right portion of the lobby. Battlegrounds for Ranked Battles are chosen randomly by the computer from a set of Battlegrounds designed for ranked play. Opponents are randomly selected from the pool of players online seeking Ranked Battles. Currently, the only way to play a Ranked Battle is via the new system. All other battles are unranked. Unranked battles are great for casual play and testing new strategies!
  • New valid battle requirements have been implemented.
The losing WarMage must lose at least 50% of his or her Battle Points. For a 5000 Battle Point, 2500 Battle Points must be lost.
Regardless of whether or not the battle is considered valid, the losing WarMage will receive a loss.
  • The ability to group with another WarMage has been added so that players can join 2v2 Battles or 2v2 Challenges together. To invite a WarMage to your group, click a WarMage’s name and select Group Up. WarMages can still join 2v2 Ranked Battle Queues or 2v2 Challenges by themselves. For Ranked Battles, they will be paired with a random partner. For Challenges, you can invite another WarMage or wait for someone to join.
  • You may now enable the ability to zoom the camera in and out during battles. To use, first go into the Options menu and check Enable Zooming. Once enabled, your mouse wheel will zoom out and in. This option is disabled by default as it may cause performance issues on computers with less processing power. We are working on adding a way to allow users without a mouse wheel to use zoom in the future.

W00T!!!! 20K GOLD, 4k BURST COINS :D

I’m squealing like a little girl now!

Btw, what’s the gift to new warmages? Do they get 20k too? O.o

Hi DAZ – yes, the gift that all new WarMages get now includes the 20,000 gold.

Flag Post

Well that makes sense. Grinding 12k gold takes a few weeks.

I love the fact that we got a lot of coins and gold =D. Time to use it to defeat Dragon and break down his arrogant self once and for all.

Except I got the same thing. LOL.
