No. Aside from last breath (that gives no benefit to the user), sac cards use a mechanic called “destroy.” Destroy staggers your ally (disables the special ability) before killing it. This mechanic was introduced because back in the day “sac decks” were rampant and OP because you could trigger “on death” abilities and reap some sort of benefit (focus, hp, damage, etc.). Aside from being OP, we had to design and balance any and all “on death” cards (past, present and future) keeping sac in mind. So, we didn’t want something holding us back from a design standpoint.
