[Waraxe] Units' strenght values thread

So I was thinking it could be helpful to know how much each unit/item/spell adds to your army’s strenght value, in order to make the best choices for PvP/Epic bosses, where that value actually matters.

I’ll start a list with the units I have, feel free to add information or to correct me if something’s wrong.

Values are offensive/defensive, for units there will be single sub-unit and full unit with command.

Man, the idea is nice, but numbers are wrong and I’d make that other way, for example
Core
Raised skeletons; Att/def = (50/50)x5 + 15/15 = 265/265; Banner, instrument;
Health = 40×5 + 10 Base damage = 10 + (3 × 5)/10+(3 × 5); Bonus skills: Regenerate 3-6;

No you don’t undestand, it’s not about the attack/defense/health values, it’s about the “army strenght values”.

If you check your army, on the right side below your selected formation there are 2 values: Offensive army str. and Defensive army str.

Those are used to pair you with other people in PvP, and to determine the strenght of an epic boss when you fight it.

To find out how much a unit’s value is, just clear your formation and then add that single sub-unit, and check those values. Same with full commanded units etc…

I was thinking to add the rest of the info too (attack, defense, health, skills…) but that info is faster to check in game, and it prolly would be in another thread anyway :)

Nice idea, but I was wondering if someone could make something like the efficiency of the unit (Like divide the attack/defence by offensive/defensive power, assuming the units have different ratios of it, maybe add skills to the calculation somehow) That way you could pick the most useful units that give you higher strength for lower offensive/defensive power.

I see what you mean, yeah that would be very useful but for some aspects I think it’s nearly impossible. It’s hard to assign values to skills since we don’t really now the proc rates. Plus the fact that some skills only affect certain enemies, and the different damage types, makes it even more complicated.

However I think the decision which unit to use can simply be based on the situation: we “know” how useful some units are in some situations, so if two units “cost” the same in terms of army str. we’ll pick the more useful, or if two units are on the same level of usefuleness we’ll pick the cheaper.

But the attack/defense divided by offensive/defensive str. is a nice idea, it could provide at least some numbers, given it will still be up to the player to consider all other factors like skills and “environment”.

For now with the offensive/defensive str. values alone we can already know which units were considered more powerful by the devs. I think I read a topic on the official forums where a dev said they would be adding offensive/defensive str. values (the ones we now have) because prior to that people would use R3 units in PvP vs lowbies that still only had R1, since the pairing was based on VPs alone.

As for the extra info, we were trying to look into proc chances based on battle log. I can’t, but qlz prolly will make a program to analyze those stats, we should have reliable proc rates then.
Boss unit stats I think I saw on the official forums.
As for the missing units’ point costs, we’ll need more people to post them here :)

Btw, I finished a part of log analyzer – now it finds out which skills were used in each code string and all unit names in both formations plus counts overall damage/healing; proc chances and spell damage/healing are yet to be counted, but I am looking forward to it.
