[Top Shot: The Game] Want the real feel? Use your Wii gun accessories!

OK, I’m a huge fan of Top Shot. I’ve watched every season, every episode I could. When I found out about Top Shot: The Game, I was more excited than a little girl getting her dream pony. However, I felt that using a mouse did the game absolutely no justice. At that rate, you might as well shoot your monitor with a real assault rifle.

I’d recommend that you’d use your Wii Remote, your Nunchuk and two gun accessories: the Top Shot Elite and the Nyko Perfect Shot. To do so, you’ll need a Bluetooth adapter, and I’d recommend you get a Nyko wireless sensor bar to attach to your monitor.

I’ve already programmed a GlovePIE script for this to happen. No, two scripts. One is for two Wii Remotes, or if you only have one I have a script for that too. Of course you’ll have to download GlovePIE. Here’s the link.

I recommend that you use the scripts that I’ve copied below. Just don’t copy the titles.

Top Shot: The Game Full Arsenal Two Wiimotes

// Script for two Wiimotes on Top Shot: The Game
// Scripted from scratch by supernintendosp
// Requires a sensor bar
// I recommend that you have both a Nyko Perfect Shot and a Top Shot Elite

var.ButtonFreezeTime = 250ms
var.PointerBump = KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote1.A),var.ButtonFreezeTime) or KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote1.nunchuk.Z or wiimote2.B),var.ButtonFreezeTime)
Wiimote1.Led1 = true
wiimote2.led2 = true

// Mouse movement wiimote 1 (Top Shot Elite rifle)
if wiimote1.PointerVisible but not var.PointerBump then
mouse.x = wiimote1.PointerX
mouse.y = wiimote1.PointerY
end if

// Mouse movement wiimote 2 (Nyko Perfect Shot pistol
if wiimote2.PointerVisible but not var.PointerBump then
mouse.x = wiimote2.PointerX
mouse.y = wiimote2.PointerY
end if

// Mouse Buttons
mouse.LeftButton = Wiimote1.A or Wiimote1.nunchuk.Z or Wiimote2.A or wiimote2.B
mouse.MiddleButton = Wiimote1.Home and KeepDown(Wiimote.PointerVisible,0.5s)
mouse.XButton1 = Wiimote1.Minus
mouse.XButton2 = Wiimote1.Plus

// Mouse Wheel
if wiimote2.Up or wiimote1.Nunchuk.Up then
mouse.WheelUp = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelUp = false
wait 30ms
end if
if wiimote2.Down or wiimote1`.Nunchuk.Down then
mouse.WheelDown = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelDown = false
wait 30ms
end if

Top Shot: The Game Full Arsenal with only one Wiimote

// Wiimote mouse script for Windows desktop
// Requires a sensor bar

var.ButtonFreezeTime = 250ms
var.PointerBump = KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote.A),var.ButtonFreezeTime) or KeepDown(Pressed(wiimote.nunchuk.Z or wiimote.B),var.ButtonFreezeTime)
Wiimote.Led1 = true

// Mouse movement
if wiimote.PointerVisible but not var.PointerBump then
mouse.x = wiimote.PointerX
mouse.y = wiimote.PointerY
end if

// Mouse Buttons
mouse.LeftButton = Wiimote.A or Wiimote.nunchuk.Z or wiimote.B
mouse.MiddleButton = Wiimote.Home and KeepDown(Wiimote.PointerVisible,0.5s)
mouse.XButton1 = Wiimote.Minus
mouse.XButton2 = Wiimote.Plus

// Mouse Wheel
if wiimote.Up or wiimote.Nunchuk.Up then
mouse.WheelUp = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelUp = false
wait 30ms
end if
if wiimote.Down or wiimote.Nunchuk.Down then
mouse.WheelDown = true
wait 30ms
mouse.WheelDown = false
wait 30ms
end if

Enjoy Top Shot: The Game!

NOTE: I know that some of you no longer own a Wii. If this is you, find out on your own how to get a Top Shot Elite from XBOX 360 or PlayStation 3 to work. I can’t afford either system.
