Out of 20 members in a guild, four should have ranks in that guild. The four ranks should be something like: Leader > Commander > Lieutenant > Officer. Leader currently can kick players, abandon tiles, recruit players, and promote others to be any rank. A commander should be able to do the same as the leader, except promote a player no higher than his own rank. A Lieutenant can’t kick players, but can do everything else. A Officer can only recruit player’s and promote others to be a Lieutenant.

I agree, we need guild ranks, but this garbage won’t do anything until you change conquest map entirely. Same with guild mechanics, join a guild and donate resources for territory that’s most likely going to get occupied anyway? Nope, we need perks, guild city/wars, and other things to make a guild more fun. Conquest is boring since season 3 started.

~Something such as allowing the Leader to choose 2-3 other trusted individuals to have the ability to drop tiles or remove heroes/orbs from tiles, which could increase the activity on the conquest map. I would recommend that these additional ranks have no power over recruiting/kicking members, as this would open the door for trolls to essentially “disband” a guild. ~I reference the Tyrant faction setup as I type this, because it is well balanced, and works efficiently.
~These “promoted” members should have one generic title, to keep things simple.

An alliance system will also help where there is an ally guild chat so we can plan out attacks. Not every1 has kong+ and use a private chatroom

a guild rank system should allow certain perks, which can also be added to the guild upgrades thing, and the higher you are the more things you can do. for example, have ranks such as general>commander>lieutenant>sargeant>ordinary member. generals can do anything the leader can do, and can be promoted either by the leader or by enough pledges, and cant kick leader, commander can promote up to lieutenant, drop tiles, kick ordinary players and remove orbs/heroes, and accept invites. sargeant can remove orbs/heroes of any ordinary member, and accept invites. ordinary members have ordinary privelages, and only leader and general can pick upgrades using guild donations if you choose to use that system as well, which would add some fun to the donation system, since its mostly useless right now.

I dont so much agree with this but have a co-leader that when the leader goes offline the co-leader can take over, that many ranks(people) having that much power will get confusing.

Bumping this because of how helpful it’d be..
You don’t need 50 ranks, just a co-leader option.
If you have more than 2 leader-figures it’s just getting complicated.
Co-leaders should be able to remove hero/orbs and drop tiles and edit the board, no more.

  • Also, if there is a co-leader he should be the only one that people can pledge other than the leader.. Just in case you merge in a guild and they try stabbing you in the back.
  • It’d be nice to implement the tile-capture counter with this. ;D
  • And maybe a join date, but if your system doesn’t remember that, it wouldn’t work. :L
  • marked lines are optional ideas
