Ubuntu a good starter?

I want to ask Kongaists out there for an opinion.

Ubuntu (with Death Mask of course) is considered one of top tier cards and I myself use him often.

I always saw him being used as a starter so I naturally only used him as a starter.

But these days I’m beginning to wonder if using him in other ways is better.

How do YOU use Ubuntu? What is the advantage of using Ub as a starter or not as a starter? Which character do you think Ub is good against or bad against?

Ubuntu is good as a starter now a days due to the abundance of cornelius starters(he is one of the stronger characters vs CC). That being said I usually only use him not as a starter, since I think I benefit with CC’s all around usefulness as a starter and can get more with Ubuntu being switched in at far range.

I use him as a starter. Despite the fact that he wants to be far for his SA, he can survive at close and his innate makes it difficult for anyone to keep him there. The fact that CC is probably the most popular lead makes him a lot more effective as well.
He is at least as deadly coming off of the bench though, if you have another good lead in your deck instead.

I like to use Ubuntu against 1range fighters (Like The samurai or the AMazon Archer) because he is flexible and can put an end to anyone withought a versatile attack range.
