**Understanding the Components**
The following are generalizations about each class. Can they be bent or broken? Yes. That’s not the point. The point is… use the right tool, for the right job.
Warriors – Excel at absorbing lots of damage, and to a lesser extent, dealing damage.
Mages – Excel at dealing damage.
Rogues – Excel at being fast, and getting the first move.
**Some Suggested Builds**
I won’t cover all possible builds. What I will do is give you some of the better builds, and the equipment I would craft for them at lvl 20. That is not to say that the builds I fail to mention are bad or unworkable builds; these are simply my suggestions. Do with them what you will. I have divided all of my suggested builds into three main categories: Melee, Speed, Health/Damage. I will address each category in turn.
**Melee**
I believe that Melee classes have some of the best end game potential. They have some downsides though. They can be painfully slow to grind with. And for the most part, if you decide to go the Melee route you must go pure Melee. Lone dagger rogues and damage-oriented warriors don’t work very well with mages and bow rogues. Understanding that, all Melee builds use some combination of dagger rogue and damage-oriented warrior. I say damage-oriented warrior because I do not recommend using a tank-warrior for a Melee build. Tanks work well in other builds I will recommend, but not Melee builds. The reason being, Melee builds are already slow to grind with. You shouldn’t compound the problem by adding a tank. Melee builds have great potential for PVP, but it is a long and difficult road to travel.
**1 Dagger Rogue, 3 Warriors**
This build is straight forward. The rogue debuffs enemies with Slash Face. The warriors use Intimidate followed by any variety of attacks: Whirlwind, Impale, Furious Slashes, etc. The dagger rogue is key. The dagger rogue needs at least 1 turn. You can either make him very fast, or give him lots of Health. Both the dagger rogue and the warriors should be respec’d with enough Agility to get the desired speed, and the rest should go into Strength for Damage, and Constitution for Health.
Rogue: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Warrior: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Warrior: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Warrior: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
**2 Dagger Rogues, 2 Warriors**
Remember when I said that “the dagger rogue needs at least 1 turn”? Two dagger rogues, double the odds. A second rogue also increases the flexibility of your build. You now have two characters that can help debuff with Slash Face (or maybe even toss a Poison Bomb if the situation calls for it). You lose some damage by adding a second rogue, but that’s the price of admission.
Rogue: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats

Warrior: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Warrior: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
**Speed**
Speed builds are by far the most popular. They are used by most of the top players, and for good reason. They can be very fast to grind with, and they just work. Moving first against an opponent gives you options. The defining element of a Speed build is the presence of at least 1 stun/speed bow rogue respec’d with as much Agility as possible. This rogue’s job is to move first, and help his teammates move sooner. Without this rogue, it really ceases to be a Speed build, and it will probably suck. For simplicity, I will refer to this stun/speed bow rogue as a “speed rogue”. The downsides to Speed builds are PVP. Using a Speed build you will find yourself losing to most Speed builds that are faster than you, and a variety of well-built Melee and Health/Damage builds.
**1 Speed Rogue, 2 Bow Rogues, and 1 Tank-Warrior**
This is my build. The “Sneaky Bear”. Or rather something like it. I don’t recommend you use my exact build, but you may if you like. My suggestion will differ a bit from my own build. All of the rogues will be respec’d with as much Agility as possible. The tank will be respec’d with as much Constitution as possible. It’s pretty straight forward, and requires very few abilities to use. The three rogues spam Split Arrow. The tank-warrior will use Defensive Aura, and maybe even Bandage Wounds if it gets another turn. After a few rounds one of two things will happen: either you will defeat your enemy, or you will watch as your enemy clumsily kills your tank-warrior.
Speed Rogue: Stun/Speed
Bow Rogue: Nether Damage/Agility
Bow Rogue: Nether Damage/Agility
Tank-Warrior: Melee or Physical Resist/Health or Health Regeneration
**1 Speed Rogue, 2 Mages, and 1 Tank-Warrior**
This is the “Rev-Kich” build. It’s like the “Sneaky Bear”. It was actually inspired by the “Sneaky Bear”. It’s just more thoughtful, and better executed. This build replaces the two damage dealing rogues in the back row with two mages (remember “right tool for the right job”). The only potential downside to replacing rogues with mages is the possibility that the turn gap will be too large. In other words, the speed rogue’s stun might not be enough to give your mages a turn. For this build I will suggest using nether mages with a mixture of Agility, Magic, and a little bit Constitution. That’s just my suggestion. Feel free to substitute in any kind of mage you desire for any of the builds in this primer.
Speed Rogue: Stun/Speed
Mage: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Mage: Nether Damage/Speed, or Nether Damage/All-Stats
Tank-Warrior: Melee or Physical Resist/Health or Health Regeneration
**1 Speed Rogue, 1 Bow Rogue, 2 Mages**
This is the original “Paul Walker” build (Fast and Furious, died in a fiery crash, terrible joke). It lives up to its name. The bow rogue is respec’d with as much Agility as possible. The mages are respec’d with a combination of Agility and Magic. IMO lightning spells work best. With this build you will win fast or die fast. No alternatives.
Speed Rogue: Stun/Speed
Bow Rogue: Nether Damage/Agility
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed
**1 Speed Rogue, 1 Tank-Rogue(\<—an abomination), 2 Mages**
This is a variation on the “Paul Walker” build that replaces the bow rogue with a “tank-rogue”. I have my own prejudices against “tank-rogues”, but I can’t argue their effectiveness. The tank-rogue is meant to address one of the “Paul Walker” build’s greatest weaknesses, Melee builds. Only the rogue skill Avoidance makes this a plausible strategy. If a future update nerfs Avoidance, the tank-rogue will suck. The tank-rogue should be built like a tank (in other words, respec’d with as much Constitution as possible).
Speed Rogue: Stun/Speed
Tank-Rogue: Physical Resistance/Health
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed
**1 Speed Rogue, 3 Mages**
This is a “Paul Walker” variant meant to provide more damage. Generally, as you add more mages to a build, you increase damage. This becomes helpful when fighting long AI streaks with ever increasing amounts of Health. Since this build is designed for more damage, the two back row mages are often built different. The back row mages should be respec’d with more of a slant towards Magic for extra damage. The trick with this build (and a lot speed builds) is managing the turn gap. Each of your mages will need differing amounts of Agility to ensure that they get their turn. This will become easier as you slowly increase the Stun on your speed rogue.
Speed Rogue: Stun/Speed
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed, Lightning Damage/Magic
Mage: Lightning Damage/Speed, Lightning Damage/Magic
**Health/Damage**
Health/Damage builds really serve as a counter to all other builds. They live in a delicate balance between having enough Health to get at least 1 turn, and having enough Damage to kill their opponents first. They are a bit faster to grind with than Melee builds, but slower than Speed builds. The downside is the constant tweaking required to maintain the illusive Health/Damage balance.
**2 Warriors, 2 Mages**
The “Health/Damage” category consists of 1 build. Two warriors and two mages, that’s it! And yes, it deserves it’s own category! The warriors are built with a mixture of Agility and Constitution, and should probably lean more towards the Health side of the equation. The mages are built with a fairly even mixture of Magic and Constitution, with a dash of Agility. If these instructions sound a bit murky and unclear, it’s because they are. The Health/Damage build is all about tweaks and experimentation. It’s time consuming. You are constantly in search of that zen-like balance. If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, bail out now! The waters only get muddier from here.
Warrior: Nether Damage/Health
Warrior: Nether Damage/Health
Mage: Lightning or Nether Damage/Speed or All-Stats
Mage: Lightning or Nether Damage/Speed or All-Stats
**An Honorable Mention: 4 Fire/Speed Mages**
If you like grinding, and you are hopelessly unconcerned about winning or losing…. this build is for you. Just so there is no confusion, this is not a Speed build. As I said earlier, for something to be a Speed build it must have a speed rogue. Fast mages out-speed other mages, but typically not rogues. If you choose this build, understand, that most well-executed PVP builds will eat your lunch. Four mages is not built to win PVP, it’s built to grind and it does this very well. Four mages built with a mixture of Agility and Magic, and wielding fire, can grind XP, gold, and gem shards very quickly.

Original Paul walker : 2 speed rogues and 2 fire mages
(headshots \> firestorms \> burning arrows, as said by Zumato)
RMMM is not solely for more damage, hell, for it to work you’ll probably sacrifice damage until later. But it’s also for more stun-lock, as well as for more versatility (ice shenanigans, condemn).
Also, imo, %allstat works as fine for mages as it does for warriors(depends on desired speed).
Great information, though, I am not a fan of reinforcing set builds like this.

It wasn't mentioned, but most likely implied as a variant of what he describes as 'speed builds'. He probably didn't go into detail because it isn't an optimum build to grind with.
