I’ve killed around 20 normal pox and 5 hard pox. Nearly every time I did more than 3 times FS I got a doom sphere segment, and every time I dealt less than 3 times FS I didn’t get a doom sphere segment. It seems like the chances of getting segments goes up a LOT when you do more than 3 times FS (this might be true for doom spheres and HSH gear too, but I haven’t tested it). There isn’t anything about this in the guide.
