[Guide] How to dress to Infestation party.

Better late then never, as some people say. Since I don’t feel like typing long explanations, here’s some basic math provig that Legendary items are better than IXH on Infested raids.

EdC+Prep+SF+FA = 86.8% (90%) RS+FA unknown, so I just rounded up EdC combo. Since main power of IXH lies in proc, any further dmg increase from tactics increases usefulness of Legendaries even more.

0.05*4400 = 220
172*1.9 = 326.8

0.08*800 = 64 (proc rate based on small sample, but due to small cap even 5% rate wouldn’t change outcome)

0.05*3200 = 160 (assuming 5% rate, since it’s rate of XH and many other pants, according to official forums observed rate is 3.5%; I doubt that, but if it was true it would increase gap between Mega Cloorians and IXH pants even further)
220*1.9 = 418
418 + 160 = 578

0.05*2675 = 133.75
211*1.9 = 400.9
400.9 + 133.75 = 534.65

Chest:

392*1.9 = 744.8 (this baby is a real beast and shows how proc worshippers should learn math, raw stats + tactics = pure awesomness)

0.05*5215 = 260.75 (huuge proc compared to ABC (10 times more!) so it has to be better, right? Right?!?)
232*1.9 = 440.8
440.8 + 260.75 = 701.55 (Wrong!)

0.05*4185 = 209.25
218*1.9 = 414.2
414.2 + 209.25 = 623.45

Helmet:
Proc rate on Mask on Vengeance is unknown, besides I have Crown and don’t have Mask, so I don’t really care at this point. If you want to see if it’s any good, I leave it to you as exercise :P )

Oh well, this is still awesome info, thanks. So, should I assume IXH gear is the best for gloves, shoes, and helm? And, reasonably speaking, for MH? Because I assume its not as good as chunjie jian, but all I have is crimson energy claw…

Unless stated otherwise, all my research compares free* items. Yes, IXH Flamethrower is best MH both for Infested and regular raids (stats on wiki are 1 lower than actual). Same for gloves and boots (unless 2 Al-Sahra items combined are better, which I doubt).

*with amount of dmg required and scarcity of sphere fragments, I do not consider All Star or Hyperspace Hero truly free items :P

Is it known whether wearing IXH/XH items affect rates of random item drop on these raids? That might make a lot of difference.
