First of all, server 2 have many advantajes… The economy in server 2 is a shit if we see it beside server 3… LOTS OF PEOPLE WILL QUIT CRYSTAL SAGA IF THIS “UNIFIED SERVER” CONTINUES(Less money for ya)… This is VERY LAGGY Think about fights in Sengolia… I disagree in all the points of view of this change in crystal saga =/

Merging the servers was an awful idea, and far worse, was done without consulting anyone. It has put almost all of S3 at a major disadvantage, we are 2-3months behind S2, how can that possibly be fair?

Secondly, a big part of MMOs is the community element of it, getting to know people, and playing the game with them. Merging the servers has suddenly turned the S3 community into a backdrop to S2, with the larger numbers of S2 players dominating world chat and all of the events. Quite frankly, after only a day of playing with the S2 people, they just seem like a bunch of douche-bags, as evidenced by their comments in this thread, calling anyone who complains a “whiner”. Of course people who have been screwed over are going to complain!

I have spent almost $1,000 on this game, which fortunately for me is not a huge amount of money. I say fortunately, because I am almost certainly quitting the game now, so have to write off the money I spent. The only comfort I will get is the knowledge that R2 will not get a single penny more from me, and I very much hope many other S3 players will follow suit.

Right after I posted this, I found out Shadow was in Sengolia. . Oh the irony. I will still be playing Crystal Saga, I like it, and I’m not that high a level that if I can’t bear the S2 players, I am willing to switch servers and start again. So far, they seem pretty mature, and less annoyed by my ignorance. I guess that could be a result of superiority, but oh well, they’re nice, that’s all. Sure, I don’t know MANY, but I’m feeling pretty safe at the moment. If they don’t decide to PK us, it’s just like a whole lot of sudden cash players coming to our server. Please, stop complaining. I want to enjoy Crystal Saga.

Ok… so let’s say you start on server 5. Then S4 and S5 merge… so you give up and move to S7 (because S6 is already long released) after which S6 and S7 merge, see? You’ll just end up trashing a couple of months hard work every time.

Of course you could skip server S5 and start on S6, but how often have people resisted a new server release?

But merging S2 with S3 made the most sense, that is if merging made any sense at all (which imo it didn’t).

If anything they should give us compensation for having ugly names now. And for having to get used to the other server’s annoying people. So everyone on S2/S3 should get gift packs. The developers show they don’t care much about individual servers anyways.

Viceroy used to be my goal… but after this server marge, as a late starting S3 player there’s no chance for me to achieve that…

well , i was planing on quiting after rebirth , but after playing 2 days in this merger server , i say its ok, i always aimed for top 10 and that wont change it just gives me motivation to catch up with these ppl that have 2 months start on me,

Besides soul, s3 players can benefit from items and players from s2, a lot more people can farm FSE for s3, right?On the other hand…it’s been pretty easier for S2 to get items like PUCs and skill books.

Regarding the “consulting”, anyone with a bit more interest on this game, enough to post in a thread, could check the R2 board, and would know that they merge servers all the time. A lot of people knew that this could and probably would happen anytime soon. Sometime ago even s2 top players were talking about asking devs for a merge…so, it’s no surprise.

It made more sense to merge s2 with s3 than other servers not only because of lvl of our players, but because for a lot of new players make more sense to join the oldest or the newest server. People will think that the oldest have more people and is more active, while others will pick the newest so they can have more chances of catching up, but the rest of servers, meaning s2 and s3, are just “random”, without really no reason for people to join. S3 could be that active as you say, but do you really think it would keep being that active after a few months?Not everyone in s2 is happy with the merge, it’s not only s3 players unhappy with that, but it benefits us in the long run, unless, of course, you would enjoy playing in a half-empty server like it could happen to s3 in some months.

Hard to accept the half empty S3 argument because we were growing, and lost more people from the merger than from weeks of normal play. With that said, I’m glad our server could be used to keep S2 alive. If your argument is new players will join S1 or S4, then all they have done is stalled the death of S2/3 for a few more months.

since after server merge i’ve been experiencing lags which i don’t experience before, does anyone here also experiencing this?

Why did it have to be S2 and S3 and nothing else?

The lag sucks, and now i have a ton of predators to watch for instead of 5. Not too happy with server merge and events that further the gap.
