Lucky chance rigged

Well then, lucky chances. Barely anyone knows how they really work, mostly becouse the caption reads: play lucky chance and win. Win a resource pack that is completely useless! It was already proven on the official forums that there is a hidden variable called weight. This weight decides how probable it is that you get that said item. Oh and the card choosing doesnt matter. The card is pre-chosen AND given to your inventory the moment you hit play. And resource items, wrecking balls and all that stuff have weight of about 80, while blessings and deeds have about 1-2. So you get the resource crap or 1 min speedup every. Single. Time.
A moderator came up on that particular forum and said something along the lines: We never said there was an equal chance to get the cards. They are not even ashamed that they rigged the game and we know it. Did they think their entire playerbase thinks out of their asses and won’t notice that there is something iffy? I am insulted. Even if i don’t care that much for the deeds etc, i am really insulted becouse it shows what the devs think everyone is: A stupid goldfish that stares into the monitor without sentient thought and occasionally forks over loads of cash for overpriced items.
Well played you pitiful bastards, well played.

Let’s remember a few things here!

#1. This a game based about the Mafia, are you surprised it’s rigged?
#2. You want to get somewhere, you’ve gotta fork over the cash!
#3. The true reality is… ALL lucky chance games in the world act in the same manner, think of it like a casino!

#1: so because there’s a mafia theme around everyone should be expected to be ripped off? seems pretty thin to me. And have you ever heard of the mafiosa, the “men of honor” of the business? even if they do their work on normal people, they are at least expected to treat other men from the mafia with a semblant of respect, and as denton says it’s kind of insulting when you’re taken for an idiot and the other bloke barely hides it.
#2: yup, that’s broadly what they want.
#3: you’re basically saying “everyone else does it so we should too”. The answer used by shopkeepers worldwide when asked about selling drink to underage kids. i gotta admit, its good money so why stop?

- #3 People keep bit*hing about them making money. If you want to look at underage acholsale the same way someone sells items expensive for a videogame? That’s not even remotly the same… Answer to all of your questions, don’t buy diamonds if you dont like it.

Also, its called lucky chance… You have a CHANCE to become LUCKY. now if it was 50% chance of getting a brooklyn deed or something of the sort every time, it wouldent be lucky. It would be average…

I played the lucky chance game over 10 times with both brooklyn deed and don’s blessing in the deck. I would of thought that I would get 1 or 2 good cards out of those attempts, but I didn’t. Reading this post explains the game and I’m happy I read it.

Only thing I can comment is everyone has there own opinions, but any one who wants to “rely” on playing this game (lucky chance, not the god father) by purchasing diamonds is definitely getting ripped off. :P

I have found that the “weighted card” is usually the one least desired. (“Oh, boy! Another Wrecking Ball!”) But you don’t have to accept the choice they’ve given you.

I keep closing the Lucky Chance window until the least desirable care is still usable. I won’t choose anything if any of the available choices include low-minute speedups (1-, 5-, or 15-minute), Wrecking Ball, Attack Orders, or Olive Branches. This improves my prize and makes that least desired card something I can still use, like a resource boost. If necessary, I keep reshuffling the deck until I get at least one neighborhood award (Brooklyn or Atlantic City) from which to choose. Sometimes I actually win a new neighborhood!

Wishing you luck! (Except on my servers…)

Well, I am pissed bout this. But pretty darn in plain sight. 20 times and never got anything besides a resoruce boost, wrecking ball, and 1, 5 whaterver speed ups
