You won a lot of battles, but nobody knows about that?!
Time is right to come out of the shadow and prove that you’re the best!
We’re going to keep count of your PvP victories from April 20, 2012 to April 22, 2012.
10 players who get the highest score in PvP battles in the above mentioned period (victory gives you 2 scores, if you fight to the last drop of your blood but you lose, you get 1 score and if you run away from the battlefield, you get -5 scores) will get a Gold-Finder’s Helmet (50% gold per battle) and a Mercenary’s Aura for 7 days (50% gold per battle)!
The Gold-Finder’s Helmet will go to the leader and the remaining 9 players will get the Auras.
The contest starts at 10 a.m. CET (3 a.m. CST/1 a.m. PST) on April 20, 2012 and ends at 10 p.m. CET (3 p.m. CST/1 p.m. PST) on April 22.

P.S. We do not count friendly PvP battles.

Amazing how you guys always ignore anything that’s slightly criticizing.

Still, I think you misunderstood my question. The item “Gold-Finder’s Helmet”; Will it be permanent? Will it be an equipable item for the helmet slot, or will it be an item that lasts a certain period of time?
If it’s indeed an equipable helmet perhaps you should consider giving a Mercenary’s Aura to the #1 winner in addition to the helmet. Some people may actually prefer a temporary aura to the helmet considering they may have to replace a good piece of gear for it.

PVP is so completely broken now… i suggest that whenever a player clicks the lower power level option, everyone spells/upgrades get evened out. For eg if your legendary is upgraded to level 5, but the lower levelled opponent is level 2, your legendary automatically gets downgraded to level 2.

There is just no way for a underleveled and underfarmed player, but of equal or higher skill level to win now, because of unit upgrades/spell upgrades staying with you even when you click the power down option. It’s just not fun when u see the enemy having a 500 heal ressurection and your own spells can only ressurect 120 health points because you don’t have the money yet to upgrade.

This is how free-to-play system works. You have to spend money to catch up all those no-life farming-spree players. This is why more smart gamers prefere subscribe system.

This event wasn’t thought thru.

The winner will be the one that play none stop for the duration of the event with 1 mortal and just rush thru match one after another. 1 point for a 1 min lost > 2 point for a real match that take 10 min and that can still be lost and only give 1 point.

This item will be permanent, Antigaprime. Sorry for misunderstanding. We’ll think about giving the Aura to the winner)

The spell power is equalized in PvP battles.
We consider the possibility of downgrading the units as well.

Actually a huge part of our PvP players didn’t invest much money to be in the top.
King’s Bounty: Legions is a game where success can be achieved by anyone who’s got strategic skills.

I for one cannot find a reason to complain about this game. I don’t understand how people can find away to gripe about a game as great as this. This game is still in beta, and in my opinion it is the best game on kongregate. Then again that is probably biased seeing as I am ridiculously addicted to this game lol. The dev’s seem to be investing their time to improve the game. They seem to be listening to our feedback and actually fixing problems. I don’t see a problem with constructive criticism for example: instead of saying, “an abusable pvp system.” Why not state how it is abusable and try giving a few suggestions on how they can improve/fix it.

So far I’m pleased with the dev’s. They’ve fixed one of the bigger problems last week with the 50+ fl bug. And they implemented the reward link system. Which helped make the chat rooms at least twice as active as they were on a consistent basis.

Here are a few of my suggestions: (I’m not sure if they’ve been brought up already)

1. Auto-Accept Invites + gifts (tick-able option). (while the player is online.)
2. Tweak the Invite function a bit by :
A. Having a tick-able option to only show friends who are currently online ( like you can do at the very bottom of the screen on your in-game friends list-line)
B. If a player does not accept your invite, or 10 other players accept the invite before he does. Said player should go back into your invite list. Also said player should not count towards your 200 invite limit.
3. This is just an obvious suggestion, but adding more quests/towns/equipment/scrolls and contest/events .. such as the PVP one.. is a great Idea. I suggest maybe a contest a week, to give players something to look forward to and compete for.

To all the staff, and active players … thanks for making this game as great as it is.. keep up the good work :)

oh my god , i won the gold helm and i wasn’t even trying to win….=.= lllll . 50 % more gold,..

above all, is there going to be any even give artifict ? belt ? stuff like that ? i mean that helm is only good for pve not pvp =.=llll

I up this comment and 100% agree! I have contributed over 500kreds to the game just because I like it. Keep up the good work and if you guys have any thoughts on the game that needs to be fixed listen to this guy, he has good ideas and also maybe talk to Hotshot2k4, Soularmadyl, Peter501, FC_BRAZIL, CurtJa, soulfly001, and Strausss. I’m sure there are a few im missing but these guys can for sure help the game out a lot.

as for me didn’t know that there was such an event going on…

Suggestion: make an in-game announcement for new/events and/or expected maintenance.

Note: its not players job to look for event, its the devs to tell the players.

This very good idea, i always think about it when searching nicknames that online in the big list
