To tell the truth, the “type superfast and get 3 (THREE) potions of life” is a bit annoying. And it is every 15 minutes! Even if you dont manage to make it half the time, its still SIX POTIONS OF LIFE in an hour with no sweat!!

Not so long ago I spent TWO WEEKS of my life playing a certain battle again and again and again for a similar amount of potions. And now they are given away for free. No wonder I feel weird. Not good. Hrm.

I hope there will not be lots of similar events in the future. Makes me dont want to play the game. Because if i play i dont get rewarded. If i stay still with hands on keyboard, eyes fixed on screen and, after a while, nerves broken, then I get rewarded.

I hope, for the sake of the game which i really really like, that the whole event will have the expected results. But I dont like it at all. Its too unbalanced and too unbalancing. Feels a little bit like cheating.

Also, as a strategy to keep people online, it seems a bit shallow. But hey, if it works, it works.

Anyways, if you were giving, lets say, 2 or 3 or even 5 gems as a reward for fast typing it wouldnt bother me. I would just ignore the whole thing. But 3 potions of life is just too much for the effort involved to ignore.

Plz forgive me nagging. May be because i am getting old.

Neither do I like this event. This is not a good method in keeping people online. In fact, it just angers people. The reason is because only people who type fast get rewarded for it. What about those who can’t type fast? Even if a person who can’t type fast is online during the event period, he/she would not be able to obtain anything from the event. Imagine the frustration and disappointment.

So there were two people online at the same time during the event period. One of them typed fast and the other typed slow. Only one of them would get the reward. Guess who? That doesn’t make sense. What gave the fast-typer an advantage over the slow one? Was it because he/she types faster? No, that shouldn’t be so. Both the slow-typer and fast-typer are gamers. They are equal and the only factors that differentiate them is their typing speed. Is that really so important?

Maybe the slow-typer desperately wanted the event’s reward. And there he/she stayed in front of the computer screen for hours on end, waiting patiently for the event codes to appear. When the codes appear, he/she would punch in the code, only to find that some other person who just casually strode by had fortuitously obtained the reward instead. That is just plain vexing.

If you were thinking of events to keep people online, I would like to suggest that instead of reward codes meant for only fast-typers, decrease the value of the rewards and allow everyone who is online during the event period to obtain a meager reward. Say, one “promo code” for a potion of life for everyone who types in the code within the next 5-10 minutes before it expires. Why 5-10 minutes? Because it gives those currently in battle a chance to get the reward as well. Currently, those in battle are unable to obtain the reward no matter how fast they type and by the time the battle has ended, the code will have expired. Don’t you think that is unfair? This is sufficient incentive to keep people online (or reward those who are online). What you have now is overboard.

This is all I have to say and I hope I don’t see such events that favour a particular group of people and not the game population in general. Thank you.

This is not only matter of who is fastest typer or not. Also pings do the work. Not all of us have low pings.

Good point Moonbandit. Codes for all or for no one. Its like discrimination of others who not stay on game chat with prepared “/PR-” :)
