Info about Cave of Trials 3 by zaktan78:
Vlax’s method works with Robo Jack and 6 DSB just as he said. I did it with only 16k attack, but it did take a while(mostly because I was reckless and got hit a few times so had to heal up). Also I think I found out how to make him hit backwards. Move to about a bit forward of the middle when he uses Thunder Shield and use Thunder III. One bolt should hit behind him, so he attacks the at direction of the bolt instead. I got him to hit backwards 3-4 times using that method.

Info about Cave of Trials 3 by Vlax:
Other possibilities for beating him seem limited to crystal use:
– Ranged units with longer range than any gold unit, I believe catapults can reach further than normal.
– Ghatotkatcha invincibility.
– Using a fast hero (Frei, Khobbit, etc) to get on top of him, the best time to approach is when he’s got enough mana to use Thunder Shield, he should use that instead of Bubble Fist. You may also be able to get to him right as the battle starts. This may only work with high defense as his Thunder Shield hurts a lot.

You can also rely on an extreme amount of luck and hope a Phantom Beast can get stuck on top of him as what happened when I first beat him.

c5 boss is different to mine. it sends phantom beasts straight at me and kills me straight away every time

If you spam out your ninjas quickly by using hotkeys before the game fully loads than the boss will respond to your higher population by spawning ninjas first.
