1st form: Orior
Element: Electric
Looks: A glowing orb with dark eyes and little colourful orbs of light around it
Description: It is rumoured that the orbs surrounding Orior are actually the souls of the dearly departed it has harvested.

2nd form: Solstar
Element: Electric
Looks: The orb has become a demonic head shape with dark eyes like holes. It has disembodied arms and a disembodies tail. The space where its body should be and the surrounding area is occupied by floating orbs.
Description: Legend has it that if you stare too long into the eyes of a Solstar it owns your soul and will harvest it for its collection

3rd form: Sinova
Element: Electric
Looks: A demon that appears to be made up of static electricity and many glowing orbs, a few of which have strayed into the surrounding area. Its claws and horns appear to be solid rock and its eyes and mouth are deep black like a black hole.
Description: When a Sinova dies it is said to explode in an array of dazzling lights and fire, leaving behind only its claws and horns as proof that it was ever there.

(Idea based on stars, supernovas, etc and soul stealing demons)

1st form: Telos
Element: Earth
Looks: A jagged pebble with tiny villi like tentacles on top and little feet. The face on the front of the pebble is just two large, cute eyes and a tiny bump for a nose.
Description: Telos bury themselves in wet sand waiting for small prey to brush against their villi.

2nd form: Teloshell
Element: Earth/Water
Looks: A jagged rock that resembles a clam shell with the mouth of the ‘clam’ pointing upwards and lines with villi. It has large, 3-toed feet and large eyes.
Description: Teloshell can be found at the bottom of rock pools, their mouths open wide waiting to trap prey.

1st form: Lizec
Element: Arcane
Looks: A little, skinny gecko with a big Aztec dragon mask (somewhat disproportionate)
Description: Liztec are not very active due to their inability to carry the weight of their own masks.

2nd form: Azagar
Element: Arcane
Looks: A lizard with a komodo dragon like stature and an Aztec dragon mask and pastel coloured feathers around its ankles, on top of its head and five on its tail
Description: Azagar are very territorial and will not tolerate small monsters around their nests.

3rd form: Draztec
Element: Arcane
Looks: A large dragon with an aztec mask decorates around the edge in colourful feathers. Its scales are quite dull, but it has colourful feathers in all the same areas as its pre-evolution, but in brighter colours, as well as a pair of brightly coloured feather wings.
Description: There are many mysterious rumours surrounding Draztec, including the legend that its eggs are made of solid gold. For this reason they are hunted by poachers.

looks:a giant snake like creture with a fish like tail so it can swim in the large pools of lava in mt adena. its eyes have black just above them to look like coals so they can observe there prey and go unseen. it also has very small legs to walk on land to lay sparkumber eggs seeing a sephlavint out of lave for any oter reason is a rare sight and should be rememberd for ever.

So Calava doesn’t have jagged arm edges kind of because I forgot to put them in. Oops. Also, it was kind of tricky to give a flaming starfish the ability to lie hidden on a rock so I made the whole thing a little more subdued.

Serphlavint doesn’t have coal above his eyes because his eyes are already black; instead he has lava-like structures for the purpose of lifting his head from the lava and watching. Also he has a more fish-ish head than sea serpents, but I kinda like it.

Poll for anyone who cares – Should I include backgrounds in with these guys, or just the terramon as it might appear in game? Because these are starting to look less like terra monsters and more like general fantasy creatures…

I adore your pictures, including your amazing backgrounds… however, it may be simpler for you and better if, on the off chance, the devs were to take a look if it was just the creature as it would appear on the game… Perhaps if you were to do the background on a separate layer, if you have the time and are using GIMP, then anyone who wants to see the background (I am always interested in seeing your full pictures) could be sent a link to the pic+background, but just the creature is posted on the forum?

Adderuff
Element: Air(I have a weird fetish for air creatures)
Looks like: A small curled up snake with it’s head sticking up defiantly, with a cloud ring encircling it’s neck. It has a greenish, blueish color, and it’s body is speckled with white spots. It has a small white spike on its tail.
Description: Adderuff slither among the clouds, frequently dipping it’s head in them to keep collecting clouds on its neck. They eat water vapor, contrary to popular belief that they eat meat.

Snakloud
Element: Air
Looks like: A long snake with it’s head raised up, tufts of cloud rising around it’s head in a sort of ‘hood’, with a swirling currentof air around it’s neck. It has a more green color. It’s body is covered in fluffy patches of white skin and it has a long blue spike attatched to the tip of its tail.
Description: Adderuff evolves to Snakloud by drinking enough water vapor to maintain a steady ring of clouds and power in itself. When using its powers, it’s cloud markings seem to glow green.

Serpentyne
Element: Air/water
Looks like: A serpent with a full solid white hood of clouds, looking very furious and menacing. It has clouds encircling its body at random places and a storm whipping around it’s neck. It has three sharp jagged pointy things on the end of its tail and it is baring its long fangs.
Description: Serpentyne will attack anything that moves, and when it bites something, the water will leak into it’s foe, diluting the blood until death. The storm raging around it often whips unsuspecting prey into it’s jaws, and unlike it’s previous forms, it eats meat.

great drawing kitsune the backgrounds are nice but i think its best just to have the terra and dockstar thats an awsome terra idea completely adore the idea of a snake that uses water as venom

looks :like a massive mantis shrimp with 4 huge hammers the legs and armor of the mantis shrimp have grown out of the tail of the previous form

description: shrimbash can throw their hammers so fast that they can vaporize water and on land they create sonic booms that often destroy glasses and windows so shrimbash are considered a menace in most societys

Some first forms: Which do you want developed?

Name: Nubitt
Element: Earth
Looks: Imagine a bunny. Now add an extra pair of legs, replace the ears with long antenna and add a pair of ladybird wings on its back.
Description: Nubitt live in burrows under tree roots, only coming out for a few hours at a time to eat and drink.

Name: Browl
Element: Ice
Looks: A bear with an owl head and talons instead of claws. (reference: http://images.wikia.com/eq2/images/2/2d/Pet_baby_owlbear.jpg ) It is various shades of pale green, turquoise and greys.
Description: Browl nest in snowy mountain forests and are extemely hard to find.

Name: Posslee
Element: Fire
Looks: A black possum with white markings in the style of ‘The Crow’s make up. (http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g96/bobbyc1225/ggg.jpg)
Description: Posslee hang around populated areas waiting to steal food from unsuspecting ranchers.

Looks like: A more queen-ish looking bee with a spiky ball of electricity between it’s antennae looking like a crown, the antennae are just spikes of electricity curving around her body now and a shiny stinger is present.
Description: Now with the ability to sting painfully, trainers do not wish to catch Waspeen. The ones that do usually have a hard time of it. It is best to catch Buzzap instead. Waspeen protect themselves and their hive aggresively, using a painful mixture of electricity and poison.

Ottinder
Element: Fire
Looks like: A yellow otter with a ring of flame around it’s snout and grey, smoky wispy paws.
Description: Ottinder delight in swimming down rivers and scaring the Lotheos. They are a very unique type of fire creature, their flames being able to consume oxygen from water to burn.

Ottalite
Element: Fire
Looks like: A golden otter with a red streak across it’s back, its grey paws have yellow streaks through them and it’s snout is covered with pure, concentrated fire.
Description: Ottalite are more serious and only go into the water when need be, due to the fact that their flames consume more energy from them when taking in oxygen from water.

Ottagnite
Element: Fire/water(weird I know)
Looks like: A red otter with flames licking down it’s back, it has jet black paws swirling with flames inside(as in, playing with opacity) and it’s snout is fire-colored with wisps of smoke drifting from it.
Description: The hottest part of an Ottagnite is it’s snout. It can set fire to anything flammable and melt stone by touching it’s snout to that object. It’s paws are very good for swimming, the flames inside are drawn back into its body and converted to energy, cooling it down by some degree and conserving energy.

Ok, what about this:

1st form: Cactell
Element: Fire
Looks: A cactus with a deep red flower on its head and deep red petals around its wrist, pointed back (they point towards the wrist)
Description: Cactell bask in the sun during the day and go hunting at night to find small nocturnal terra.

2nd form: Heltus
Element: Fire
Looks: Like its pre-evolution. The flower on its head has opened up into a wild west style hat, its eyes are black with a red glow and the flowers on its wrists have turned forward so you cannot see hands through a plume of fire-coloured petals.
Description: it is unknown whether there are hands underneath Heltus’ petals as they shoot firey blasts from there so no one has ever been close.

Sorry about the lined paper guys, the way I did this, I can’t just erase it. For Sinova I’m definitely figuring out layers so I can just delete the paper after I’m done.

1st form:Mistletuff
looks like a baby deer, a little bit chubby proportion, small antler, and standing-like pose(similar to hythea) with a necklace made from mistletoe
Desc: embodiment of Christmas, seeing a group of Mistletuff at Christmas Eve is a sign of prosperity to those with pure heart

2nd form: Yulestice
Little bit bigger with a more mature proportion, longer antlers covered in icicles, and a snowflake-covered mistletoe as a necklace
Desc: Yulestice controls both ice and nature, and thus can channel powerful blizzard and strangling ivy at opponent

Sinova:

This one didn’t come out as nicely as I’d hoped, but after an hour or two spent layering colored lights on each other because I couldn’t figure out how to get the paint brush to use gradients rather than constantly fading to white (There’s gotta be a way, I just know it), I kind of got a little lazy. My apologize, Rose.

I also should have put some electricity in Solstar’s orbs, and maybe even around Orior’s, to suggest they’re electric rather than fire creatures. Also, I forgot to color in Solstar’s tail! I just noticed that like…last night. Whoops.

I did, however, figure out layers~! Things will be so much easier and better with them, I’ll be able to draw individual limbs and stuff and re-position them as needed as one single unit. And thank you, both Rose and Opazxe. :D

Has anyone asked the devs if they check this thread out for ideas? I don’t even have the time to draw all these awesome concepts…

Kitsune – I love your drawings. Yes, I keep saying it, but I sincerely mean it. Thank you for drawing up Sinova – it looks to me you spent a lot of time on it and you have done a great job :)

I’ll ask the devs if they’ll take a look :)

I asked Blue that maybe the egg might hatch into one of these creatures and we could pick them, like the starters. Thats just me though, it’s not very likely..
