It may take some time to process these requests for the game & Kongregate servers. Please also check that these friends do not have the Private Profile settings in their Kongregate profiles.
What exact invites do you mean?
The in-game requests (like ones for the governor position) should be processed during 24 hours for sure – usually it takes minutes. Invites to the game are processed by the Kongragate system. Please give us more detail.
