episode 4

episode 4 is totally impossible, the AI is so bad.

Nah, it isn’t.

The first battle (4.1) is actually unwinnable if you are paired up with the A.I. or with a bad player. The rest of them are usually OK, the efficiency of the computer even surprised me in 4.3. I won 4.4 while paired up with the A.I., even though it seemed it was trying real hard to lose. In 4.5 I had to save my computer teammate from its own stupidity with an emergency team maelstrom, as the computer has a tendency to get somewhat suicidal with Zara. Overall, if you haven’t been able to clear 4.1, hang in there or ask for human help in chat. For the other battles, if you cannot win with either a human teammate or the computer, maybe the problem is you.

while not impossible it is much more difficult than it used to be, especially with the computer wasting moves. I just did it on my third try with the ai as a partner. for some stupid reason I used kamakaze and had kat attack. next round kat attack twice, then move kat north one and attack. cat attack twice. kat attack and then move n1nw1. if unit attacks bev then fireball to kill and poison the two with kat. attack epic and heal. at this point you should be able to have killed darbin 1 with poison and just start attacking the epic probe until you kill it. if the one tele attacks bev have bev attack twice. then you need to lure it with kat by going se1 when it come to katrina once kat hits and then runs out of range. kat runs into a corner next round and waits for fatigue to end. then move in and kill epic2. then just heal and wait for last darb to be at 64 hp or less and swoop in and hit

The only important move is going from bottom-right to upper-right of the second enemy before killing it. I didn’t bother watching it after that.

episode 4.3 is unbearable :/ Any tips;

If you’re with the AI, it usually sends zara to the upper left “branch” where she suicides, correct? For your first move, try moving Katrina so she can attack that peatin, it’ll stop the AI from moving there and suiciding.

False.AI has now changed.

You’re incorrect. I played it since the AI last changed, and I checked it again now. If you play up to the move I mentioned, then make sensible choices, you win easily.

Does anyone have any tips on the final boss for episode 4? It seems impossible, he can keep on creating more enemies. I have tried killing the main boss first (then get killed by remaining enemies) and killing the enemies first (he summons them again), teleported directly in front of the boss (by luck) so he is unable to create more enemies and pounded on him but I can’t seem to come close to winning no matter what I try.

Seems you need to rely on your AI partner to make good moves. Half the time she spends the match running into a wall or attacking the fire. :/

I completed it on second attempt. First I randomised positions, to mix things up a bit. Then I basically use aoe when it will hit a lot of things and attack, using my own position and attacks to form walls.

The most important thing is to kill the most RECENTLY spawned enemy IN ONE TURN. Each enemy can spawn another one. If you don’t kill the FRONT enemy in one turn, it will spawn another one…

The first time I tried this level the AI got stuck, didn’t move or use either of their units… so that was never going to work.

Every time I try it my companion wanders off and doesn’t help me and without that support I just don’t get anywhere. Sometimes she joins the fight for part of the match. Seems like victory is dependent on some spotty AI here.

Yeah. If you don’t have two characters attacking at once, you probably won’t be able to do it.

I am having a horible time trying to get through chpt 4 ep 5 any advice or tips?

its not that hard….
maybe try playing it with a person as your teammate
I did that and even though the battle took forever eventually we won xD

Team Maelstrom is ESSENTIAL and you NEED to make sure the summoner doesnt lay his creatures down. that worked for me on my 1st time, even with a crap-ass AI
