I really like the concept of the ninja, its a lot of fun. But i think most ppl can agree that the ninja skills are on the underpowered side.

1. Ninja Vanish: This skill is critically flawed, in that its possible to see where the ninja goes even when they are invis. It defeats the purpose of the skill entirely.

Just take away the tiny animation that gives away the position. IMO it also needs to be extended to 2 turns OR maybe reduce the EP cost. But i would settle for it simply doing what it says it does.

3. Caltrops: This skill is hard enough to land as it is without taking a sword to the face. It gets overpowered by EVERY skill in the game, including regular attacks. The one skill you should be able to cast it against is counter or tsubame gaeshi as you’re not actually dealing any direct dmg.

It just makes sense.

Its just a bit lame that no matter how good you are at predicting when the counter attack is coming, if you don’t have 10 EP then the ninja has literally 0 offensive options.

Another solution might be that stun kick / Throat slice should simply clash with counter attack every time.

ATM even though counter attack is supposed to have equal priority. In practice it outright beats the stun moves the majority of the time.

I agree that Ninja seems underpowered. I am a rogue and when I duel ninjas I usually win easy, not because opponent is bad but because his skills seem week compared to rogue and especially Samurai. As for Knight I can’t really compare because I only fought one in ~200 matches

knight here, and I was disappointed when I saw the ninjas, the invis seems to not help with movement but it did seem to cancel my attack (they were in my attack’s area but it missed, they reappeared in the same spot), so if my understanding of the skill is correct it has a use (similar to my shield cover). The clones seem to be really weak, they give two copies and teleport you out of wherever you are. This is cool and all but it is defeated by an opponent just moving away (if the clones are anywhere nearby) not sure how you would fix that one… Caltrops are pretty cool actually, but I like them for the crowd control aspect, not to actually hit with, they cut off options and force your enemy into more predictable patterns, I would use them when I can safely be out of range of a hit to dictate where my enemy can go. It does seem weak that they have no offensive powers (except fury) and for being all about deception, their skills don’t seem to help that much… I think they need a buff.
