That’s the problem, most new players won’t do either. They simply click on another game.

I think the extra abilites on items could be cool. As like unlocks or ticket buy-able power ups… (I think they are doing that anyway…) But I don’t think item tiers would be fair unless they were somehow regulated by game room rules.

I think the best players should cut playtime when activity (more new players play) for a while, this way we don’t promote ragequits and it encourages new players

Skaloguer: The second tier is almost same as third tier, and second tier is accesible, so if new players play a few rounds, they can rent a gun as good as third tier for a few days

Forgive me if this was already brought up, but a weight attribute would be a nice addition. Snipers having double range, 50(ish?) damage, and equal speed to everyone else is kinda ridiculous. I mean sniper/pepper grinder is pretty much the only way to play at a pro level. Weight could give a speed decrease for weapons like the sniper and a bonus for weapons that are near useless currently like the power drill. It might be kind of hard to implement at this point since the weapons weren’t exactly designed with weight in mind, but it would make the weapons more balanced.

lolwut? snipe/pepper is not the only way to play at “pro level” there are better combos (free combos) out there, rent all the weapons and go for a day of testing

First I didn’t say they were. I said I think they were. Secondly there is a button beside everything you post it says “Edit post” It should be just under your name. Try it out.

@ XVendetta NO I normally play with pepper/sniper because the grinder is fairly cheap and you can’t go wrong with the sniper. But any weapon works with sniper. I’ve said it before I’l say it again. Most of the weapons in the game are balanced pretty well IF you can properly use them and utilize their critical hits. With the default combo of weapons(Shotgun/SMG) and some decent reaction times you can not only ambush snipers but obliterate them.

However someone else brought up the weight idea the other day. I don’t think it’s a bad idea per se, but anyone with a sniper rifle would be obliterated by anyone with an RPG or floatron as they would not be fast enough to dodge the explosive radius. The same way anyone with smg/shotgun would buzz around and pick off slower combos.
I just don’t think the extra fire power would be worth the slower speed. I would switch back to default combo if they added weight.

However! If they made the heavier weapons stronger(by that I mean stronger ratio wise to the lighter weapons) or made them have more ammo.. Like the pepper grinder… Technically a chaingun right? It should be really heavy and have lots of ammo.

Unfortunately I’d have to agree. It seems most anytime I play against a small group of what I’ve surmised to be new players they ragequit. So I’m only going to join large games that are almost full. Even if that means I don’t get to play :/

Regarding the weapons, y not have 1 primary weapon (the weapons in the shop atm minus melee weapons) one secondary weapon (to be added) one melee weapon and one bomb/powerup or something like that

I have a 89% win rate, and a 5:1 kill:death ratio, and I almost never use the sniper. The only time I use a sniper is if there’s someone on the enemy team that is decent enough with it that I can’t easily kill them, so I use it to shut them down. I just use pepper/smg, gg.

I can’t deny that the sniper is an OP weapon though, it requires no effort to use, acts as a super long range shotgun, gives the user a vision advantage, has a very small cooldown time proportionate to the damage it does, and is not harder to aim with than any other weapon. One crit sniper shot + 2-3 pepper hits = dead target almost instantly, it actually will kill, from a distance, much faster than a shotgun will at point blank range.

Yeah I have to say, ever since I started playing, I almost never get repeat games with the same people, maybe 1-2 repeats if I’m lucky, and half the time people just ragequit. It really sucks and makes the game less fun for me. At this point, I never play 1v1s, and I’m thinking of only playing 4v4+ anymore. Larger group sizes like that seem to mitigate the rage quitting because they enjoy the large scale combat and want to keep playing. I say, for an update, bigger maps with even greater group sizes allowed. 10v10 combat, that would be amazing.

Hey guys, we’ve been following to the conversation going on here and we want to thank you for raising these questions.
Here are our thoughts on some of the issues here:

Tier systems
We are currently trying to maintain the balance it already has and to avoid the dreaded ‘pay to win’ mechanic. Weight attributes is something that may be introduced in the future. Regardless, the BHB Team want all the weapons to be balanced.

Rage Quitting
We agree what’s been said and want to work on it. We have some modes in the work to try and deal with it.

Bigger Maps
We hear you and while it’s not the focus right now, it is something we’ll address in the future.

Thanks you for the suggestions. We are listening.

First I’d like to thank the SpicyHorse peeps for the gift I was sent.
Secondly a suggestion…
New toy: BigFoot New brand?: Mythic(Any rare beast or creature of legend)

Terrible sketch yeah I know. But you get the idea from the picture. I wish I wasn’t as bad as I am with the image tools. I can’t make it look how I invision it in my head. The blended areas would be more like fur… His claws would obviously be better… He wouldn’t look so fat in fact maybe really muscular. His teeth white with his mouth open to show them off. also the feet would look more like feet over shoes.
The description would be something like: Takes being ferocious and unruly to a new level. It’s definitely for the best that no one has ever found him.

My other ideas for the brand would be Chupacabra, Abominable snowman, maybe werewolves? Any feedback on the idea would be cool.(As long as it’s not about the atrocity that is my picture.)

The current setup of the weapon stats doesn’t mean anything to me. I suppose I’d rather have hard numbers rather than a bar that honestly doesn’t give you anything more then a general idea.

The first number of damage is a regular hit the second is a critical.
I donnu. I’m just bored and trying to find things to do.

yeah nos. look more informative. We’ll discuss the idea.
& thanks for the new Toy Series idea. We’ll get some artist here at some point to work on them. Keep them coming. Maybe you’ll see that guy or something like it in BHB in future updates.

So…I suggest.
1) Every weapon should be bought with tickets. Shop should only help exping, not being more powerful ingame.
2) Rooms with limitations. Level limitations, equip limitations, something like that.
3) quoting Daiyama, female toys!
4) An armor? I imagine it working in 2 ways: When i spawn, I have x armor points. These points, work like extra life points, but there’s no way of regaining them once lost. OR they may be found in the maps, and give extra life/absorb damages for a short time.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. We are listening. As a result we’re planning to release some more female toys at lower levels. We’re also reviewing price structures for weapons and toys. Nothing concrete on that yet can be shared, but I can tell you that room limitations such as level are already in the pipeline. Also, we have some other features planned, so keep a look out for them!

new weapon idea : how about more ‘Throwing’ weapons? sticky bomb is good, but that’s not enough. i think we needs something more classical things. like Daggers, TNTs, hatchets, and…. Stones(of course).

I have to agree with Skellyjack on this one. Funny it came up in the thread, I was thinking about it on my drive to work today. Shuriken (ninja stars, thrown in a straight trajectory), cluster/spread bombs (one explosion, then smaller spread shrapnel and subsequent explosions), proximity mines (booby traps that go off once someone is close enough), and maybe remote detonation bombs (one click, throws bomb, next click, detonates it). All things mentioned in Skelly’s post I’m totally down for too. Also, boomerang anyone? Throw it forward, slices an enemy, jump over it as it’s coming towards you and it hits the other dude flanking you.

This is a long post, but bear with me here.

The more I’m playing the game the more I’m thinking of things I’d like to see. As a player, maybe some more interactivity with the environments. Things like;

- Moving Platforms (up and down, side to side, and diagonal, looping planes of movement).

- Directionally changing conveyor belts that can either slow a player down or speed them up depending on the direction they go.

- Pendulum styled, swinging platforms.

- Switch Activated Traps. (Say a few characters are on a lower tiered platform, a player could jump on a switch, and the lower tiered platform would be flooded with lava. Perhaps a crusher could drop down. Maybe a trap-door opens up, allowing for ambushes and surprise kills).

And as for powerups and the like maybe…

- Jetpacks. Flying Bash matches would be awesome.

- Deployable Decoys. ? Unsure how this would work, but maybe a copy of the toy firing off some blanks to draw some fire while the team drop down from above and play it sneaky. ? Maybe.

- Deflector shields. Projectiles reflect off character for a limited time. (probably really limited, a rare item).

- Hysteria Mode. Somehow implementing a variation of Hysteria Mode from Alice: Madness Returns. Not utilized in the sense that it belittles or competes to the “Bash Mode”, but maybe a way that when you’re close to death, instead of dying, you get a last minute boost for 5 seconds or so to lay some serious smack down and get some last ditch kills, before dying in an epic fashion. ??? Exploding in a shower of glowing butterflies maybe.


General Customization…

- Purchasing or selecting a choice of cross-hairs and aiming reticules.


Plus, maybe the option for a shelf in your “Collection” tab, where you can arrange and place your purchased toys in a diorama setting.

- Differing backdrops can be selected.
- A selection of universal poses that can be applied to the character models.
- Props from the game can be arranged or held by toys.
- Objects can be added to make a scene with the toys.

The idea is that you can play with the toys online besides having them kill each other in-game, like real toys haha. A snapshot option could be implemented allowing the diorama to be saved, and then allowed to be posted and shared within the BHB community. Maybe tokens or prizes are awarded for creative or humourous scenes?

If you’ve got to the end of this, I owe you a digital hi-5. Just rolling with the thread on how we can add new elements to BHB. Love the latest build guys, only hope to see it continue to go from strength to strength.

So the bash packs kinda ruin the balance of the game. I am suggesting that it be reduced to 100-200 pts instead of the full 300 required for bash. Also, campaign mode like all the other platform shooters (once A.I. is done, of course)

One way platforms, bullets cannot go down, only up. People on top of the platforms cannot jump down but people below it can jump on top

This is a long shot (pun kind of intended), but maybe a sniper-styled powerup that can be picked up, then activated when needed to enable a quick switch to first person or an “over the shoulder” view point, and subsequently take aim on a Y-Axis (up and down). You’d have a couple of seconds to let loose a volley of shots from across the map? You can’t move while doing this, so you’re a sitting duck if someone ambushes you, but you have a better perspective of incoming enemies and are able to make that sweet shot from across the map. ? Anyone? Just a change up in playstyle. Technicalities of this is probably problematic, but just throwing it out there.

…and here’s the last post for the evening, considering I just booted up my laptop again from laying in bed. Mind is ticking over something chronic tonight haha

1. After a match is finished, and the results screen is showing, there’s no real indication that you need to click “ready” to commence another game. Maybe a highlighted splash, or a banner down the bottom motioning towards the “ready” button saying “Click here for the next battle!” or similar lines.

2. I’d love a chat window during the results screen, so I can either talk trash, congratulate the winners, or just keep the lines of communication open after a round.

3. And, even if you don’t win, other awards, (ie: most assists, most health packs collected, most deaths, most accurate, most critical % hits etc.) would be cool, just to see what my play style is like.

And finally…
4. Weapon Concept A traditional grenade launcher thanks. You know, a launcher with the same damage as the rocket launcher, but instead of firing in a straight line, can be fired in arcs and technically for some sweet trick shots. And 2 different flavours. One with a few bounces and they explode, (and that sweet metallic ‘ping’ noise when they bounce) and another with exploding on impact ’nades. I guess more like a Mortar. Yes please.
