Can Anyone explain what exactly is the Skystone?

What I have:
Ferric Lore says that The Skystone is the egg of the Great Ferron.

Crag Lore says that The Skystone is the moon that JackMcCrag bough down to the world.

Aero Lore/Skystone 101 says that The Skystone was worshiped and studied,then BOOM it exploded in haze.

The Mimics,Haze and Fungus

Can Anyone explain what exactly are the Mimics,Haze and Fungus?

What I have

Zorro327 Thinks They’re half-animal half-haze things.

RavingFrenzyV2 Thinks that they’re normal animals fusing with haze making Crazy Things

In my opinion, they are somehow normal animals just formed into some crazy different creature from the haze and such, thus making Mimics.

I think there’s eggs/haze within the sky stones. Those mimic are dormant inside it. Once it reaches a certain growth, it will come out and terrorize the civilization.

I KNOW WUT IT IS i think its a giant spore thing that had thousands of small things inside it and the haze so when it was time it imploded and the haze got released along with the mimics yeah =D

I think mimics are little kids trapped in costumes.
