I’ve got to the part where you first enter the sewers. I’m in the third room that did not have any mimics. It appears the only way to leave the room (according to the map) is through the floor. I can see a cavity below the floor, but the floor is in the way. I can’t go up because there’s this nicely set up steam vent and pink spikes that stop me. How the hell do I keep going? It’s like the room is just walled off.

first of all, don’t triple post, use the edit button. how to pass it: double jump over the wall spikes and climb the wall through the steam. get to the ceiling and then get to the right inner wall. slide down untill you reach the bottom of the wall. double jump to the other inner wall and climb it. double jump over the spikes and divebomb down to kill the pugcrawler.

And just a tip: put “!” without the quotes at the start and at the end of the link. The picture will show up in your post.

I have died about five times trying to jump over the spikes. I think it might be a glitch, because I get knocked back even though it looks like I got over them.

You mean the last pic? I have tried everything, and I just can’t reach over those spikes! I would post a picture of what happens but I can’t take a screen shot of action.

I don’t know, I’ve tried all speeds, all distances… It LOOKS like I got over them, but then I get thrown back.

That is the right way. Time your doubly jump properly.

Yeah! I got it! I didn’t realize you go higher when you hold down the jump button, I was pressing it, waiting for my peak and pressing it again instead of holding it and then waiting. Thanks so much guys!
