By the third level enemy spellcasters are taking my warrior out in 3 attacks, anyone else in 2…

Just no way of passing an encounter with 3 of the fuckers. If they all attack my warrior, I’m screwed… I have to hope they’ll just protect someone else, but even then it just makes them impossible to kill at range… it doesn’t help that they act first.

You can reset your char while keeping your gear if you want to make things easy or play with different char, who are low level. You have a bunch of epic tier 2 gear, all with enchantments, then max difficulty is not that hard. Though the best way to make max difficulty easy is to use a ghost enchant on a epic weapon that is tear 4 or higher, so it can be used by a lvl 1 and you can have 80 damn at level one and one shot all the guys.

As the game progresses and you accumulate more and more ‘perfect’ items and full builds, difficulty decreases by much, fully equipped team will not have any problem on max difficulty. More than that, its not hard to get ‘duo’ achievement on max difficulty.

But even with full builds game is still more or less challenging at max difficulty(unless you resort to cheap tactics like spirit guides), and that what matters the most. The purpose of the game of this genre is to keep you equally entertained at level 10 and at level 1000.

As a tip for acquiring achievement for beginner party – pass difficult waves, try to beat act 1, and always use potions before difficult battles, +quickness is great, and regeneration\damage protection would be of great use for your tanks.

^ do that. Unless you are going for ‘campaign with no potions’ achievement (which I recommend doing on standard unless you have ben through a couple times and have good gear) I would use quickness and health regen on back row. Quickness on my rogue and health regen/ damage on my from row warrior/cleric. I did not normally use health regen on rogue cause his hide technique makes it so you can crank his strength for attacks and just hide for a couple ticks of health when he is low. I normally ran with a poison ranger so he had high intel for health regen skill.
