I have the M16A1 Rifle. Really good for both “Long Shots” and “Auto-Rama”
I bought the Glock 17 for pistol challenges. The Bersa Thunder is total garbage…

I prefer the Winchester 1866, 15 round and quite stable and you HAVE to buy it for the “gun that won the west”.
It is a all rounder gun for me.
and i skipped the M16A1 and go straight to the A2 since they dont cost that diffferent

Personally like M16A1 + A2. The fact that they count as carbines, rifles, automatics, and semi-automatics allows them to be used for a whole lot of challenges, and they’re all around good in all those categories.
I think the Bersa Thunder is actually pretty nice though. I prefer it to the Beretta 17 for challenges where I don’t need the bigger clip because of its low recoil.
I also like the M1 Garand even though it only counts as a rifle, it’s really good for long shots.

I am warming up to the Glock 17. It is not my favorite gun, but in the absence of the
Beretta 92F or M9 as I fondly remember it, the Glock seems to be the best in the pistol
class. I am using it as much as possible to increase my proficiency with it.
Just as a side note, I am surprised that the M9 is not in the game. It was very prominent
in the show itself.
As of now I’m saving up for the M16A2, I believe it to be worth the wait.

I’m definitely a rifle man, I enjoy shooting most of the guns in the game and in reality, it’s entertaining to see the similarities and differences in the way the game portrays the guns compared to reality.

I like the Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. Had to grind quite a lot to buy it, but attempting a challenge with nine targets when you have a shotgun that holds only 2 rounds seemed pointless. What I really like about it is that it won’t actually shoot before the sight has realigned after the recoil. Try it in the practice range – aim at some target and then start clicking like mad – most of your shots will still hit :)

Is the PS90 worth the money? I am currently saving up to buy it.

I think the PS90 is great. 50 rounds, good sights, and basically no recoil. On the practice range, you can pull the trigger as fast as you can and it’ll still keep it in one of the closest set of targets. It’s a big advantage on a lot of the challenges. Plus someone said it is a required gun on some challenge.

BAR (or Thompson) is required for gold stars on Bombs Away.

Thanks for the tip, that’s definitely going to make the revolver challenges easier! Doesn’t seem to kick any worse than the Bersa.

Anyone having the IMI Tavor or Heckler & Koch M27, how nice are they? Is there any better, cheaper gun?
I also need a reference for the Singer and Jackhammer.
